ABOUT US

LINKD IS A DISABILITY SERVICE WITH A PASSION FOR CREATING A POSITIVE ENVIRONMENT
WHERE EVERYONE FEELS WELCOME AND CELEBRATED.

All LINKD staff have a commitment to best practice with a person centred
approach. Our focus is to make genuine relationships and learning experience for
all participants whilst having fun!

MAKE NEW FRIENDS.

Making new friends and spending time with existing friends is important. At
LINKD

We will support our participants to successfully socialise and build respectful
relationships.

HAVING FUN AND LEARNING AT THE SAME TIME!


Fun should always be the main goal. At LINKD we always make the learning
experience fun, engaging and specific to our participants needs and goals.

UNIQUE AND EXCITING ACTIVITIES!


At LINKD we offer Community based activities as well as centre based programs.
These experiences offer authentic and genuine learning opportunities that offer
participants real life problem solving and living skills.

MEET THE TEAM


MICHAELA

I am the Team Leader for our Disability Services. I work with a fantastic group
of people to provide NDIS services and support to NDIS participants across
Melbournes North and Eastern suburbs. Connecting with participants through
genuine and meaningful experiences to support each participant to meet their
goals and aspirations is my favourite part of my role at LINKD disability
services.

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

 * Masters in Special Education; Emotional disturbance and behavioural problems.

 * Bachelor in Education

 * Graduate certificate in Adult and Vocational Education

 * Certificate IV in Training and assessing.

 * WWCC

 * Infection control - Module 5

 * NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate

 * First Aid & CRP Certificate

 * Police Check

SERVICES I OFFER:

 * Respite services

 * Small group day activities

 * Learning Sessions, such as:

> Building respectful relationships

> Conflict resolution Strategies

> Literacy and numeracy skills

> Positive Behaviour Support training for staff

> Personal hygiene and health

RACHAEL

I am one of the support workers and head of operations at LINKD Disability
Services. I am a very passionate Carlton supporter but don’t hold that against
me! I enjoy going to all sporting, arts, music and community events in
Melbourne.

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

 * Certificate IV in Disability

 * Diploma in event management

 * WWCC

 * Infection control - Module 5

 * NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate

 * First Aid & CRP Certificate

 * Police Check

SERVICES I OFFER:

 * Community - Special events; Fairs, fates, markets, festivals, exhibitions and

KERRIE

I’m a support worker at LINKD Support Services. I'm looking to build a client
base in the eastern suburbs.

I am a qualified teacher specialising in disability (Autism, ID, ADHD, behaviour
management). I also have a wealth of experience providing care to adults with
disabilities. I have assisted with shopping, run cooking classes, supported
participants to go on outings to enjoy community events and group outdoor
leisure activities.

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

 * NDIS screening

 * WWCC

 * First aid and CPR

 * Food Handling Certificate

 * Police Check

 * Infections Control Training

 * NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate

SERVICES I OFFER:

 * Educational group sessions on skills covering:

> Literacy

> Living skills to enhance independence

EMILY

I'm a support worker at LINKD disability services. I enjoy hands on and engaging
activities such as arts and crafts, cooking, exploring the outdoors and
educational learning. I love being able to help other people by showing interest
in activities others enjoy doing.

 * Diploma in Education Studies

 * Certificate III in Business

 * CertificateII in Workplace Safety

 * Certificate III in Catering Operations

 * Employer WWCC
