Established in the 1900s, the Oaks Tea Estate is located in Sonada - a small
town midway between Kurseong and Darjeeling. The estate is USDA certified
organic and grows chinary bushes that are more than 100 years old. We have
procured this Indian single estate summer tea, fresh from the misty hills at
4500 ft. As soon as you sip, vibrant fruity attributes arrive with sweet notes
of nectarines and stay on the palate till the end of the cup. Hints of oaks and
chestnuts can be perceived in the middle while the taste of dried berries
lingers on in the aftertaste. A memorable cup of Summer flush 2021!

A medium-bodied, sweet cup which feels supple and beams with vibrant fruity
attributes. Delectable note of nectarines akin to peach envelope the palate
right at the start and hum along throughout. Light oaky undercurrents interlaced
with hints of chestnuts shore up around the edges; rendering a layer of depth
and pleasant texture to the cup. Tart-fruity accents akin to dried berries can
be picked up in the aftertaste, making for a memorable cup of Organic black tea

Tried quite a few teas lately and must say thos one tales the cake hands down.
You may gladly over steep it and ot will still not get bitter. It is so amazing
that u can do a second infusion with the same tea and it still goves u great

There is something mysterious about this tea and it's aroma. Kinda narrates a
story about the place it's comes from, I mean it's an story to experience from
opening the box to sipping it. The feeling it's aroma gives throughout the whole
process is almost majestic, it's beautiful aroma manages to draw your contestant
attention so well that it makes you really aware and feel special about yourself

I have been a regular drinker of this tea for the past two years - its organic
and excellent value. The 2016 and 2017 summer flushes had an amazing aroma but
in the 2018 season you have to search for it... in vain. I hope next year will
be better. Until then I will have to search for another second flush Darjeeling.

The infusion is clear and lush, golden orange color, full of taste and lively,
sweet, with very decent mustard. The aroma dominates mostly fruit tones. Very

Received it as a sample with my order and fell in love with it. I'll be taking
this one again for sure, once I'm done exploring the varieties here. The scent
is as described, fruity with a hint of dark wood smoke. The taste is lovely,
smooth and almost no astringency, the way I like it.

It's a unique Darjeeling tea i tasted this year and different from the tea which
produced in same tea estate I bought last year . It's more stronger with the
spices aroma. I think it likes ginger mixed with other herbs flavor . The tea I
bought last year was more sweeter that liked juicy berry. Great !
