of alo in Kuwait, a renowned premium lifestyle brand, with launching online and
opening in The Avenues. The partnership reflects Alshaya’s retail growth
strategy that prioritizes guest experience, convenience, and community.
Sprawling across 500 sqm, the in-store experience builds on alo’s global mission
to spread mindful movements, inspire wellness, and create community. The store’s
widespread layout is expertly curated to bring the latest collections to full
display, including high-performance activewear, as well as fashion forward,
on-trend leisurewear. The Los Angeles-based brand aims to elevate luxury
athleisure from the studio to the street, with high-quality, ethically made, and
environmentally friendly active apparel and wellness products for both men and
women. Speaking about the opening of the brand in Kuwait, alo Yoga Co-Founder

THE REGION’S FIRST-EVER STANDALONE DISNEY STORE OPENS DOORS AT THE AVENUES IN
KUWAIT

The Walt Disney Company Middle East and Alshaya Group officially opened doors to
the region’s first-ever standalone Disney Store on 18th November. The grand
opening was attended by special guests and officials of Alshaya Group and
attracted over 1000 visitors and onlookers. Located at the Grand Avenue - The
Avenues in Kuwait, the occasion was highlighted with an array of magical
festivities and giveaways for little ones, transporting guests to the wonderful
world of Disney. “We couldn't be more delighted with the opening of the first
standalone Disney store in the region," said John Hadden, CEO of Alshaya Group,
at the opening. "This stunning new landmark is more than just a store – it’s a
destination that brings memories to life and truly offers a one-of-a-kind retail
experience to children and families that only Disney can deliver.” Sonal Patel,
Director – Consumer Products Middle East & Disney Store Southeast Asia, India,
and Middle East, added: “The region’s first-ever standalone Disney Store is
officially open and we could not be more excited. It was wonderful to welcome
our first guests and see them experience all that the store has to offer. With
the help of The Alshaya Group, we can’t wait to continue creating memories and
connecting with our fans in Kuwait.” Spanning over 800sqm, the store has
something for Disney fans of all ages, with lines exclusive to the Middle East,

transformative wellbeing themed around sight, smell, sound, taste, and touch

exciting glimpse into its presence in Kuwait, prior to the opening of its
first-ever retail store in the region. An exhilarating afternoon dedicated to
awakening the senses and unlocking transformative wellbeing welcomed more than
100 experts, practitioners, and influencers to experience 360°, multi-sensory
wellness like never before. Fully immersive sessions were carefully curated
around sight, smell, sound, taste, and touch. The pre-launch event empowered
