SPEAKING, AS WELL AS BRANDED COMEDY AND FAMILY OUTREACH EVENTS.

WORSHIP LEADING

Beyond all the events I get to be a part of, my first passion and calling since
I was a teenager has been leading worship. Big or small settings, hyped or
hidden, I love seeing God's people simply and honestly connect with their
creator using music. It is has been my joy being a part of that in people's
lives for years now, and I'd love to come be a part of it in your context as
well.

SPEAKING

In the past few years, teaching worship teams and leading worship has also led
me to speaking to congregations about worship. The response has been awesome.
Sometimes we all need to be reminded of why we do what we do.

ABOUT DAN MACAULAY


Acclaimed Canadian-born worship leader and singer/songwriter Dan Macaulay, is a
GMA Canada Covenant Award winner and nine-time nominee, with songs being sung by
churches and played on radio around the world. As a pastor for 8 years, and
having led worship in venues across Canada, the U.S. and internationally for 25
years; Dan now takes his considerable pastoral and worship-leading experience on
the road full-time, serving churches of all shapes and sizes.

With a mix of musical and teaching gifts, Dan believes in serving local pastors;
helping them to ‘move the ball forward’ in their vision for growth in worship,
while endeavoring to deposit something that lasts beyond one weekend visit.

Dan lives in Buffalo NY with easy access to minister in both Canada and the U.S.
and enjoys life with his wife of 17 years, Danielle, and two young boys. Dan and
Danielle can also be seen together bi-weekly on the nationally broadcast
Canadian show "A Better Us" (For which Dan also wrote and performed the theme
song!) A show designed to strengthen and encourage marriages as the building
block of families.

Dan’s latest single "Morning By Morning" won Worship the Rock.com and Worship
Ready.com’s 2017 songwriting competition and enjoyed much radio-play across
Canada. His previous single, the family-oriented anthem “As For Me and My House”
won the 2017 “Children’s Song of the Year” at the GMA Canada Covenant Awards.
(Canada’s Dove Awards) Dan’s last full-album release, “From You For You”
received five GMA Canada Covenant Award nominations including “2012 Praise &
Worship Album of the Year”. Another song from that release “In Awe” was also
named a finalist in the 2011 “John Lennon Song Writing Competition” while two
songs from the album were featured in Worship Leader Magazine’s “Song DISCovery”
program.

As one of the top Canadians consistently charting on Canadian Christian radio,
Dan has six #1 radio singles (CanCon) to his name so far. CCM Magazine called
Dan “One of those guys you may not have heard of…but you should!” Worship Leader
Magazine gave the album “From You For You” a 4 star review saying “Macaulay’s
sense of hook is matched only by an obvious heart that constantly reaches out to
the Father”.

“Leading worship these days is better than ever,” he says. “What an exciting
time in history we live in. I believe God is using the uncertain to heighten our
awareness of the One certain thing that we desperately need more than ever—Him.
I’m just helping people see that, make the connection, and turn their focus on
Him to carry them through.”
