Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan is one of the top ranking public sector
university in Pakistan. It has emerged as one of the prime institutions of the
South Punjab region. As of 2019, over 25000 students are enrolled in various
departments and institutes of the university.

Institute of Banking and Finance (IBF) was established in 2009, with the vision
to impart quality education to students from Multan and other adjoining areas.
The degree programs being offered at the institute have been designed in
accordance with the industry requirements. The curriculum has been prepared in
consultation with the corporate advisory council, that comprises of renowned
academicians and leading industrialists of the Multan region. Apart from the
regular academic activities, the Institute of Banking and Finance has been
regularly organizing various seminars, conferences and workshops for its
students and faculty.
