When Jacky left her African village in Cameroon, she knew only one person in this country. View in browser Dear Brittany, When Jacky left her African village in Cameroon, she knew only one person in this country. Upon arriving in Cincinnati, she was determined to make progress toward financial stability. She became a permanent resident. She enrolled in nursing school and was working. But Jacky’s progress was cut short when a back injury made work impossible. With three young children, Jacky’s choice was clear, but not easy: stay in school, continue physical therapy and become self-sufficient. Your support helps families like Jacky’s. Now and in the future. United Way’s Project Lift helps families stay on track by providing support during a financial crisis. And it goes beyond helping moms overcome the initial barrier. This ongoing support helps each parent build a tailored plan for how their family can become financially stable for the long haul. Because of caring people like you, more than 250 families received support in 2022. We need your help to reach 50 more families in 2023. Choose now to Make a Mother’s Day. Give to help more families. Sincerely, Treva Brinkley Senior Manager, Donor Experience Click here to opt out of this campaign. This email was sent to brittany.mccollum@fisglobal.com.
