As Christians we know that living a life contrary to God's design will only wound, which makes this all the more painful. The tension of loving your child while also holding to your personal convictions of faith produces both frustration and uncertainty. Hope Group Online, a pre-recorded video program produced by Portland Fellowship, is a supportive process to help you understand your family member or friend, and how you can navigate your relationship with them. These video teachings and testimonies have been created by those who have been in situations similar to yours so that you are able to glean from those with insight and hope. The Gay-Identified series is presented and taught by Portland Fellowship and the Transgender series is presented and taught by Help4Families. Although Hope Group Online is not interactive, Portland Fellowship also leads a Zoom program for connecting parents as they journey through the Gay-Identified series together. To learn more view Hope Group Zoom Program and choose Option Two. This program is contribution-based, rather than a set-fee based program. You will have the opportunity to choose how much you want to contribute after you register. All generous contributions go to further the work of ministry, and are greatly appreciated.
