event has become the World's second largest of its kind, capturing

Center's Drum Off (Miami Division). He notes it's an honor for
him to judge at both Competitions, allowing him the opportunity

A milestone has been reached in Hector's  musical career:  forty-five years of
playing the Drums! It was on September 15, 1964 when he picked up his first pair
of Drumsticks.  Today, on the eve of his forty-fifth  anniversary,  he stated he
enjoys performing and teaching with even greater passion!  Check Hector out in
the Anniversary section!

Hector was interviewed by the author of an upcoming book (an Anthology of
Argentine Rock from the 1960's and 1970's).  The book, scheduled for release in
2009, will discuss the history, aspects and topics of an era in which Hector was
deeply involved with.  At that time, he performed in several Rock bands, but one
in particular recorded an L.P. which eventually sold thousands of copies.  This
particular band will be featured in the book.  Hector is proud to have been part
of that generation.  The book will certainly bring back fond memories.

           At the conclusion of the 2007 Guitar Center's Drum Off, the Miami
Herald newspaper, through its Neighbors section, published an article describing
this prestigious competition. Hector, who is identified as the Senior Judge, is
pictured speaking to a couple of youngsters seeking Drumming advice.

Hector was invited to perform with a Jazz trio at a well-known restaurant in
Miami. The repertoire included several genres of music. Some guests started
dancing while others enjoyed listening to the trio.

Hector judged at "Guitar Center's Drum Off" competition for the 10th year in a
row (awesome record)! He also accepted a special invitation to judge at "Sam Ash
Music's Monday Night Drummer" competition. In addition to judging, he conducted
the entire event! Afterwards, he performed a Drum Demo to a packed audience!

April 1, 2006
Hector was invited to judge at the First Annual Drum Competition by "The
Ministry of Light for all Nations" and sponsored by "Sam Ash Music". Moments
after the winner was announced, Hector addressed the audience on topics such as
timing, fills, technique, etc., and then performed a drum solo!

Hector was invited to judge at the Sam Ash Music "Monday Night Drummer" contest.

October 15, 2004
Hector's band performed at the Hialeah Campus of Miami-Dade College in
Miami,Florida.The repertoire featured songs from the 60's,70's and 80's!
Students and faculty members joined in to sing along and dance! What a party it
was!

Hector's band conducted a Music Clinic at the Interamerican Campus at Miami-Dade
College in Miami, Florida! Hector addressed the audience on topics such as the
different Drum set components, the Snare Drum's role within the Drum set as well
as its vital throw-off system,etc.A question and answer session followed; later
on, Hector performed a brief Drum solo to a very excited crowd!

August 12, 2003
Hector will again be the SENIOR JUDGE at the Miami edition of "Guitar Center's"
Nationwide Drummer's Competition known as "DRUM OFF"!  This major event begins
every September and continues throughout several weeks. Hector has been judging
