hello ⊹₊ ⋆⟢ i’m cami, a writer and creative based in santa barbara. 
⊹₊ ⋆⟢₊ ⋆⊹₊ ⋆⟢⋆ ₊⊹

full time:
i’m a copywriter creating brand campaigns for Red Hat (my favorite day job thus
far!).

i also write and co-edit Picnic, a style newsletter about Santa Barbara.

part time:
copywriting — for festivals, tech companies, travel agencies, local artists,
business owners, and more

journalism — published in the Santa Barbara Independent, LA KCET, Remezcla, San
Antonio Report, Latin America News Dispatch, and more

experience:
i started out as a full-time journalist in San Antonio, TX (my hometown), where
i reported on local government, Latino issues, urban development, arts and
culture, and more. 

from there, i lived and worked as a copywriter in Mexico City, got my masters in
Latin American studies, and started a newsletter of personal creative writing.
