 * COSA CREDIT FOR CPS ENERGY CUSTOMERS

On December bills, CPS Energy customers will receive a credit from the City
of San Antonio as part of recent action by City Council. High natural gas
prices, combined with extremely hot weather this summer, have resulted in
extraordinary customer bills and revenues to the City that exceed normal
expectations. In recognition of the unusual one-time nature of these
additional revenues coupled with the current high inflationary environment
consumers are experiencing, City Council approved returning $50 million back
to CPS Energy customers as part of the adoption of the City’s Fiscal Year
2023 budget. City Council’s action also recognizes the City’s current strong
financial position and that the level of additional revenue generated exceeds
   normal variances.

CPS Energy is assessing how to replace aging power plants, whether to
continue operating coal-powered units, and planning for population growth.
Our generation planning process will identify the types of power generation
resources to be added over the next several years. Planning objectives
include system reliability, customer affordability, environmental
sustainability, and other factors. CPS Energy will work with the Rate
Advisory Committee to assess several generation planning options. CPS Energy
is scheduled to make a recommendation on an updated generation plan to our
Board of Trustees in late 2022. Powering Our Community’s Future is an
initiative designed to inform and encourage you to be part of the decisions
we need to make for our community.

COSA CREDIT FOR CPS ENERGY CUSTOMERS

   CPS ENERGY VISION 2027

We Deliver on Our Mission: To serve our community through reliable,
competitively priced, and sustainable energy services in an equitable manner.

   POWERING OUR COMMUNITY'S FUTURE

   OVERALL SAFETY

Make safety your priority. We all want our homes to be a place of safety and
security for our loved ones. While electricity and natural gas safely power
our homes and businesses, there are risks associated with each if they are
mishandled. Check out the Safety Links below to improve safety around your

The San Antonio City Council approved CPS Energy’s request to implement a
3.85% base rate increase and a regulatory asset that will allow CPS Energy to
recover paid and legitimate Winter Storm Uri fuel costs. The City Council
vote follows the unanimous approval by the CPS Energy Board of Trustees on
January 10, 2022. The rate increase and regulatory asset went into effect on
   March 1, 2022.

   ENVIRONMENT, CLIMATE & SUSTAINABILITY

We are proud to be a part of SA Climate Ready, working with UTSA and the City
of San Antonio. This project is to develop a Climate Action and Adaptation
Plan for the City of San Antonio - exploring both mitigation strategies,
aiming to reduce or prevent the emission of GHGs, and adaptation strategies
aming to prepare the community, municipal government operations, and other
key sectors for the unavoidable impacts of climate change.

   Our Flexible Path
We will position our community to use new technologies and solutions as they
emerge while providing our customers with reliable, safe, secure, and
   resilient services.

   WHO WE ARE

   RATE ADVISORY COMMITTEE (RAC)

The RAC is made up of 21 members comprised of 11 appointees by the CPS Energy
Board of Trustees, including Mayoral appointees and 10 City Council
appointees. Members of the RAC will devote the necessary time and energy to
learn about the utility business and the rate design function that allows
utilities to recover their costs to provide service. This effort will help
them understand and provide thoughtful input and perspectives regarding CPS
Energy’s rate structure and rate design options.

   ROAD CLOSURES & INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS

To maintain the overall health of our infrastructure and utility system, we
have to occasionally close roads to perform upgrades, maintenance and
replacements. The road closures below are scheduled but on occasion, we are
forced to close roads to make unscheduled repairs to our equipment.

   CPS ENERGY'S WINTER PREPAREDNESS

We believe in year-round Reliability! We want our community to know what we
are doing to prepare as the weather gets colder. We are working on three key
areas of improvement: weatherization, infrastructure, and communications.

   TEACHER & STUDENT RESOURCES

Teachers, check out our online games and printable activities to make your
students e-Smart! Students can learn about electricity and natural gas, and
how to use them safely and wisely.
