FIND MY IPHONE NOT WORKING

















Hopefully it starts working for you guys soon. I suspect that you folks having
issues with it will eventually see it start working. But when it was not working
for me, it was frustrating. As of right now, everything is working for me and it
is a nice feature.

Wish we would get some info from Apple as to why certain people do not show up
as live at first. That screen still uses the 30 sec (or whatever) refresh. I
never expected that, but in thinking of this issue I wondered if some folks out
there expect live to work on that view and show all their family/friends moving
around the map. Live does not work when all your contacts are shown on the map
(the main "People" screen). So always use iCloud on the web while logged into
the same iCloud account. I have not tried adding any new people lately.įor the
live updates to work, you do have to select a particular person and have the app
focused on their specific location. Here is the work around until this bug gets
fixed: If you cancel the erase request from the iOS device you originally
requested it from then you can re-request it from the iCloud account that the
iPad you want erased is on. In my case, it's been working for a while now for
everyone that I have in Find My. Choose the device you want to find, and then
select Find to see a map showing your. There's definitely issues with it getting
working, but once it does start it's great. Use Find my device to locate and
lock your lost or stolen Windows devices. Perhaps my search terms are not good
enough, but I typically can find answers, if they exist, before posting

works, but it is updated every few seconds/minutes. Of the four of us, three of
us show up as live location, but the fourth does not. One of the main features I
was interested in was the live location updates in the Find My app. All four of
us have iPhones and have upgraded to iOS 15. I have 4 people in my family
