For instance, if you have a lot of natural light, choosing a brighter white paint like Chantilly Lace will really stand out. However, if you do not have a lot of natural light and you choose a color like Greek Villa, your wall will likely look yellow. TESTING YOUR SAMPLES When you are narrowing your sample white paint, determine which undertone you would like. Once you’ve deceived between warm, cool or neutral, get a few samples at the store. If you will be using this white has the main color in your house, test the sample on a few walls. A living room with natural light versus a hallway, may make the white paint have a different appearance. I also recommend watching the samples throughout the day.
