WHAT IS MDPHP

MDPHP, or 3′,4′-Methylenedioxy-alpha-pyrrolidinohexiophenone, is a synthetic
stimulant of the cathinone class. It is chemically related to MDPV
(Methylenedioxypyrovalerone) and other synthetic cathinones. These substances
are often known as “bath salts” when sold as recreational drugs.

Here are some key points about MDPHP:

1. **Chemical Structure**: MDPHP has a structure similar to other synthetic
cathinones, featuring a methylenedioxy group attached to the benzene ring and a
pyrrolidine ring attached to the carbon chain.

2. **Effects**: MDPHP is known to produce stimulant effects similar to those of
other cathinones and amphetamines. These can include increased energy, euphoria,
heightened alertness, and, in some cases, anxiety and paranoia.
