Site and people search options for search this site, search all Virginia Tech
sites, or search people

The search feature within the content management system themes has options for
searching the site you are currently on (default), searching all Virginia Tech
websites, or searching for people directory information.

Search results display showing the ALL results tab with web, people, and News
results shown

Search results will appear in the All tab for web search results with asides for
matching people and news results. If the theme people search option or the
people tab is clicked, people results will be displayed, alone.

There are other refinement tabs that will also display results for common
Virginia Tech resources.

quantum physics
Finds all documents that contain both words, 'quantum' as well as 'physics'.

'quantum physics'
Finds all documents that contain the exact phrase 'quantum physics'.

physics -quantum
Finds all documents that contain the word 'physics' but excludes ones containing
the word 'quantum'.

Finds all documents that contain at least one of the two words. The 'OR' must be

PROGRAM AT A GLANCE

Our community-focused Virginia Tech Public Health Program prepares students for
innovative careers by combining core public health training and
cross-disciplinary practices. In partnership with a veterinary college, medical
school, and an academic health department, our work embodies Virginia Tech’s
motto, Ut Prosim, "That I May Serve." Signature research/practice areas include
One Health and rural/Appalachian health. Students engage in research and
outreach in our surrounding communities and beyond. The campus-based degrees
provide the appeal of a college town nestled amongst mountain ranges and an
abundance of outdoor amenities, all within a day’s drive of major East Coast
cities. The Bachelor of Science in Public Health degree provides a springboard
for success in graduate programs, government, private sector, and health
professions. The Master of Public Health degree, with concentrations in
infectious disease, and community health promotion and equity, can be completed
in two years or combined with the DVM, MD, or other graduate degrees across
Virginia Tech.
