Hi, I’m Wendy Steele. I’m a qualified transformational Life Coach, professional
Business Coach – Mentor and I’m also a SEN Consultant. I help people get clarity
when they’re stuck in life, work, or the balance between the two.

I’m a single mum of a high needs’ child, I have over 30 years’ experience of
being in business, half of that being a solopreneur. I have over 300 hours (to
date) of 121 coaching & mentoring experience since 2021.

I have worked with a variety of independent small businesses, scale ups,
department heads and individuals since 2021 – helping them retain their values,
authenticity and find joy in their work again. I’m currently working with
several business leaders with SEN such as ADHD, Dyslexia and Autism. I’m in a
unique position because of my personal experience of SEN to adapt my practice to
suit those who are neuro-spicy!

My responsibility to my clients is to help you navigate your journey, clarify
where you are really starting, explore fully where you truly want to be and then
to walk alongside you all the way, supporting you, challenging you and keeping
you on track and focused so you reach your goals.

I specialise in helping dynamic SME’s, the Self-employed and business leaders to
find clarity and a way forward.

SEN COACHING

I became an SEN consultant 2 years ago after other parents and professionals in
my SEN network asked me to help them navigate their EHCP’s for their young
people. Just like I had done for over 5 years with my own SEN Adopted son.

I’ve pretty much done everything you can think of on that journey, benefits,
education, divorce, CPV, Therapies, personal budgets – the list seems endless!
I’ve been to tribunal twice, won twice. I’ve represented myself in front of
multiple judges, lawyers and senior case workers- in both the lower and upper
tribunals.

I’ve now worked with families all over Southwest UK, against multiple Local
Authorities –I’m proud to say we have got a good result every time for the YP
and their families.

Please see my lovely testimonials! I support the carers to navigate the EHCP
system, the LA policies, their stress and exhaustion – using legal arguments,
from the CAFA 2014, SEN COP 2015 and other statutory precedents by analysing and
making your EHCP fit for its specific purpose. A well written EHCP is by far
your best weapon to advocate on behalf of your child, often this results in a
great outcome for the YP without having to take it to tribunal - avoiding huge
costs both emotionally and financially.

I will consult & support you on your SEN case journey, coach you through the
skills needed to make your EHCP work for you and mentor you to empower yourself
with the knowledge you need to advocate for your child effectively. And I’ll do
all this with a HUGE dollop of empathy! Because it SUCKS! BUT it can be done, it
doesn’t have to break you in the process.

BALANCE FOR LIFE

Balance for Life Coaching is my Transformational life coaching service. Working
with you closely as an individual. I support you to find clarity around your
ultimate goals.

We explore how this relationship with your authentic self- works around other
areas in your life, family, work, health, wellness, mindset and relationships,
and how they all balance out as a whole.

What would your best year look like in your life? Personally & Professionally?
Why can’t you have that? What’s stopping you? Sounds easy to answer but it
rarely is!

Our mindsets and historic habits can stop us achieving what we really want, and
self-limiting beliefs can stop us in our tracks. As your coach its my job to
help you find a way forward, that works for you, at your pace BUT I’m there to
keep you accountable to your ultimate goal, be your cheerleader, your advocate
and empower you to be the unstoppable force you know you always were.
