Safe is the account abstraction leader on Ethereum and the EVM with the most

You’ll be joining a growing team that currently includes 90+ people overall.
Most of our team is based in Berlin, Germany (🇩🇪), but we also have awesome
teammates in Switzerland (🇨🇭), Spain (🇪🇸), Portugal (🇵🇹) and other
countries.





💻 ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Senior Data Engineer within Safe, you will contribute to a pioneering
project at the heart of web3 innovation, working on core components that are
shaping the future of decentralised finance. You will drive the enhancement of
our data pipelines and data warehouse, build data orchestrations to improve the
automation of our key pipelines and unlock deeper insights and more impactful
analyses across multiple teams at Safe.




🗃️ WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: 

 * Continuously improve and maintain the data integrations within our existing
   dashboards to ensure they provide accurate and up-to-date insights.

 * Develop new data pipelines tailored for our data analysts, enabling them to
   access, manipulate, and analyze data more efficiently.

 * Partner with Dune to create new, scalable spells that can handle increasing
   amounts of on-chain data and deliver more granular insights.

 * Use advanced SQL techniques to manipulate and analyze data, contributing to
   the continuous improvement of our data models and analyses.

 * Expand our data warehouse by incorporating data from Safe{Wallet},
   Safe{Core}, Safe{Networks}, and onchain sources.

 * Write scripts and code to programmatically fetch and process analytics data,
   improving the automation and efficiency of our data workflows.

 * Set up data orchestrations using tools like Airflow to automate key data
   pipelines to reduce manual effort and enhance data processing speed.

 * Integrate marketing data into our data warehouse to comprehensively evaluate
   marketing campaign success, bridging the gap between marketing efforts and
   product performance.

 * Play an active role in defining and executing our data strategy, using your
   data engineering expertise to enhance the speed, efficiency, and scalability
   of our insights.




🤖 TECH STACK:

 * Onchain data: Dune, Allium, Nansen, Spindl

 * Offchain data: Google Analytics, BigQuery, Looker, various APIs

 * General stack: DGCP, Python, Relational databases (SQL, PostgreSQL), dbt
   
   
   


🎒 WHAT YOU WILL BRING: 

 * Proficient with Data Orchestration Tools: Experienced in using tools like
   Airflow for orchestrating data workflows.

 * Familiarity with Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud-based data services,
   particularly within GCP or AWS.

 * Skilled in Data Modeling: Proficient in building data models with tools like
   dbt.

 * Experience with DevOps Practices: Familiar with CI/CD practices for
   deploying, testing, and building data pipelines.

 * Experience with Onchain Analytics Tools: Comfortable using tools like Dune
   Analytics for fetching onchain data using advanced queries, optimizing
   existing ones, and creating new schemas from scratch.

 * Proficiency in Scripting Languages: Able to code in at least one scripting
   language (e.g., Python) for fetching and processing data from APIs.
   
   


➕ NICE TO HAVE:

 * Familiarity with tools like Apache Spark or Hadoop for processing large-scale
   data.

 * Experience with platforms like Alchemy, The Graph, or Spindl for more
   in-depth blockchain data analysis.

 * Experienced in setting up GA, adding events, and making informed decisions on
   what to track.

 * Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Segment, or Amplitude for integrating
   and analyzing marketing data.

 * Basic understanding of smart contract development (e.g., Solidity) and use of
   tools like Etherscan for blockchain analysis.

 * Understanding of smart-contract wallets and Account Abstraction
