You can call our Office of Patient Recruitment at 800-411-1222 and speak with
one of our Information Specialists or email our Information Specialists at

In Memoriam: John I. Gallin, M.D.

John I. Gallin, M.D., who served as Director of the NIH Clinical Center from
1994-2017, passed away on October 10, 2024. He often referred to our hospital as
the “House of Hope,” and he both fostered and championed its deep partnership
with patients.

Construction Updates

Learn more about the Surgery, Radiology and Laboratory Medicine wing currently
under construction that will help ensure the Clinical Center continues to
provide high-quality patient care alongside cutting-edge biomedical research.
