HUMANITARIAN AID FOR TURKEY - UPDATE

02/15/2023 - The Lyndhurst Police Department has filled their truck & thanks
everyone for their caring & generous donations to such a worthy cause.
Any other additional donations may be brought to Portx Inc. 265 Paterson Plank
Road, Carlstadt.
The necessary items still needed are new winter items, baby diapers, etc.
Please see the attached additional flyer. Very worn items, summer items will
not be accepted by Customs for transport.
Under the direction of Mayor & Public Safety Commissioner Robert B. Giangeruso
and Chief Richard L. Jarvis, the Lyndhurst Police Department will be conducting
a Community Policing initiative to assist those affected by the natural disaster
In Turkey.
The items collected will be transported by Turkish Airlines through Portx Inc.
of Carlstadt.
Please help us fill Truck 97 with humanitarian aid supplies to assist in this
initiative to help those in need.
Those wishing to donate are asked to leave supplies in the rear of Truck 97,
which is parked behind police headquarters, 367 Valley Brook Avenue.
