NEARLY 100 YEARS IN VIRGINIA
Carter Myers Automotive was founded as Petersburg Motor Company in 1924 in
Petersburg, Virginia, by H. Carter Myers. Nearly 100 years later, Liza Myers
Borches - representing the fourth generation of the Myers family - is our
President and CEO.
CMA has a rich history in Virginia and in the automotive industry. What started
as a single Ford dealership has expanded to include 16 dealerships and 17
service centers with nearly 700 associates throughout Virginia.

CMA'S VALLEY SUBARU DONATES BLANKETS TO UVA CANCER CENTER
CMA's Valley Subaru has donated more than 100 blankets and over 30 care kits for
patients at the UVA Cancer Center Augusta location.
There were also handwritten notes from CMA employees and customers giving the
patients some words of encouragement. Some notes featured messages stating, “Not
all heroes wear capes”, “You’re amazing”, and “Stay strong”.

CMA SUPPORTS UVA ATHLETICS TEDDY BEAR DRIVE
Carter Myers Automotive is so proud to partner with UVA Athletics to support the
UVA Children's Hospital this holiday season! During the Dec. 3 basketball game
UVA & CMA were able to donate hundreds of teddy bears during the Teddy Bear
Takeover to donate to kids in the hospital.
