We charge a 1% annual admin fee while assets sit in an interest bearing estate
account managed by Sunset. So we make our fee while your assets earn interest in
a safe and secure account.

The admin fee is billed monthly, and you'll receive a monthly statement with
interest earned, admin fee, and balance listed.

How does Sunset work?

Sunset is a financial software tool that finds the accounts and assets of a
loved one after they've passed. Sunset will also automate the closure and
transfer of those assets into a Sunset estate account.

Families can decide when those accounts are going to close, and once they are
ready, they can distribute out of the Sunset estate account.

Is the process secure and compliant with privacy laws?

Yes, Sunset employs robust security measures to protect user data. All personal
data is stored in a SOC 2 compliant database, and financial account connections
are compliant with ISO 27001, ISO 27701, and SSAE18 SOC 2.
