YOUR IT GEAR WILL REMAIN OPERATIONAL WITH Z-ATS

Designed specifically to overcome the challenges presented by single corded
devices, the Z-ATS Micro automatically switches from the primary power source
(A) to the backup source (B) as needed, guaranteeing redundant power to
connected devices at all times, thus minimizing downtime.

The Z-ATS Micro can switch between power sources at any phase angle, even 180
degrees out of phase. It is also a one-to-one solution, which means that there
is a separate Z-ATS Micro for each IT component. At the size of a cell phone,
the Micro is the smallest device of its kind on the market and does not take up
valuable rack space.

"We have a copy/paste design solution that we don’t have to tweak from project
to project."
Siemens

KEY BENEFITS

 * With a Z-ATS Micro, single corded devices never have to go offline again
 * Z-ATS Micro transfers at any phase angle, which simplifies deployment and
minimizes the potential for human error
 * The Micro maximizes availability while minimizing exposure to risk,
   especially that of cascading failure

GUARANTEE REDUNDANT POWER TO CONNECTED DEVICES AT ALL TIMES

 * Supplies A and B redundant power to single corded devices.
 * Can switch between A and B power sources at any phase angle, even 180 degrees
   out of phase.
 * A one-to-one solution, so each component uses its own Z-ATS Micro.
 * A zero U solution.
 * Can be deployed in 15 to 30 seconds.

"We use Z-ATS Micro HVE’s because they are specifically designed to accommodate
50Hz power schemes and come equipped with IEC connectors. Since space is at a
premium in our data centres, the zero-u form factor is ideal. They‘re also the
easiest ATS units we’ve ever installed.”

Z-ATS RETENTION KIT AND INSTALLATION GUIDE

This kit consists of a pair of keyhole style “D-ring” brackets and matching zip
lock nylon ties. Use it in situations where it is desirable to physically attach
the Zonit μATS™ to the equipment being powered or secure it to the rack where
the equipment is mounted.

CASE STUDY: SIEMENS

One of the challenges was design and a reliance on small, panel-mounted UPS
units. Their approach to redundancy relied on the most common failure point in
data center facilities: batteries. In addition to the risks associated with the
battery itself, these panel-sized UPS units also required replacement every
three to five years, thus driving up operating costs.

DID YOU KNOW?

The Zonit Z-ATS is the smallest and only zero U transfer switch on the market,
which means it is the only ATS for single corded loads you can supply that won’t
take up a bunch of rack space.
