Join us for this webinar introducing the easy-to-use and insightful structural
analysis capabilities of SimScale. The webinar will cover the vibration
assessment of an electric motor support bracket to understand if its critical
frequencies lie within the intended operating range. The goal of the analysis is
to avoid bolt failure.

In addition to the vibration analysis, you will learn about how to perform a
multidisciplinary analysis of the electric motor’s shaft and rotor under a
torque load. The entire engineering simulation workflow will be implemented via
a web browser and performed in the cloud.

Our specialists will show you how to set up and run the simulations covering all
the necessary steps:

 * Import a CAD model and preprocess it for simulation
 * Efficient meshing of the geometry
 * Setup the boundary conditions and run calculations in the cloud
 * Postprocess and visualize the simulation results

WHO SHOULD REGISTER?

 * Mechanical designers
 * Engineers working on structural harmonic analysis
 * Engineers that design systems with electric motors: automation lines, pumps
   installation, etc.
 * Anyone interested in simulation and modeling of industrial machinery

Register for this live event and, even if you cannot attend, you will receive
the recording.

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR

DAVID SHORT

Product Manager - Structural Mechanics

David is the product manager for Structural Mechanics at SimScale. He brings
with him years of professional experience in CAE, with a background in marine
engineering. He is committed to helping organizations discover the benefits of
early-stage simulation and works to make nonlinear and dynamic FEA applications
accessible to design engineers worldwide.

WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS ARE SAYING

“We are really impressed with the SimScale platform. Thanks to the platform’s
ease of use, the professional support of SimScale engineers and the perfect
communication with them, we were able to efficiently perform simulations and
sort out our design problems. It’s hard to imagine how much physical prototyping
time and measures we saved thanks to virtual prototyping.”

PIOTR PIETRYGA CEO AT CRYO SCIENCE

“When I started with SimScale, I knew from my previous experience how
simulations are structured and work, but I had forgotten some details over the
years. The great tutorials, documentation, and personal conversations with
support have brought me up to date within 2 months of using SimScale. I am now
well versed and use SimScale even with smaller problems to confirm my
pre-calculations and to quickly compare design studies.”

STEFAN KUNSTMANN DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER
