Im lucky I don’t suffer from motion sickness that bad but all the fast paced swinging movement could make some people feel like they’ve had 10 beers. Its pretty similar to the first one if you’ve played it before, to move around you have to gather momentum by swinging your arms and firing out plungers that are attacked to your hands, it’s very SpiderMan movement. The game has a great narrative story and is well voice acted. I’ve put in a good 45 hours of gameplay and still yet to complete it so it’s certainly got longevity for a VR game. It looks east to move about which it is but hard to master, it’s a great feeling when you squeeze through a tight gap at a fast pace. It’s a solid single player game that feels great in VR. The music is fun and fits the game. The art style is spot on and on brand. I do enjoy the sound affects when firing the balls and dashing. I think this is off to a great start showcasing two levels that I tried. I can't for the life of me beat the flower though in good cuphead fashion it's hard. Definitely can't wait to see more of this project. One to give a try I'd you enjoy cuphead. Really fun game that pays homage to the flat screen name sake. The music is fun and fits the game. I'm a big fan of cowboy and western shooters. This game makes you feel like a true gunslinger. Riding in your carriage shooting dirty no good outlaws. The music and atmosphere is great and gets you in the mood to shoot bad guys. The slow motion system which reminds me of dead eye from red dead is awesome. I do feel the game needs some work though. At one point my horse disconnected from the carriage due to a train track collision. The gun play also feels a little slow and delayed but you kind of get used to it. Maybe add some extra events going on with the npcs so they aren't stood still lifeless. I think the game has potential. Loved this. I'm a big fan of cowboy and western shooters. Cuphead VR is a remake of the hardcore classic cartoon style game that was popular several years ago. This game is made by one developer who is creating the Cuphead world in full scale for us to see in an immersive way. The game actually runs very well minus a few stutters in the main logo screen. I really also would like to see smooth turning added which would be great for people who dont like the only option of snap turning. Everything is beautifully crafted with their own style of animations and characters but it is pretty close to a 1 for 1 remake of the game. There is only one level at the moment and I cant wait to see more from this game. You can jump and shoot your enemies like you do in the flatscreen game as well. The world map is fantastic as your able to see the locations full scale. If your a fan of Cuphead this is without a doubt the best way to play! Cuphead is now available to play in Virtual Reality! The game has you setting up your defenses and facing of against waves of minions. You are equipped with melee and ranged weapons to battle the waves of minions. You will also have a collection of cards to build your defenses and give you perks. This all sounds really good, but the game just doesn't feel, well like a full game. I was faced with not only waves of minions, but also waves of bugs. Bugs that make the game just not enjoyable at this current time. The game is also missing a lot of sound effects, causing you to feel like you are playing a tech demo.Things like a poor grip system, lack of sounds, and bug after bug just kills the thrill of this game. It sounds and looks good on paper, but just doesn't feel like its ready for sales yet. I will be keeping an eye on this one and hope it sees better days with future updates. Plus the devs have now added a mixed reality mode. It a very immersive game, the sound effects really add to that. It starts off a bit weird but then you kind of get the message that you need to find a mysterious woman, that’s where the fun begins. The undead stand in your way but they are not your only problem as there are maxed and puzzles to solve too. The only thing that I feel needs to be looked at is the swing hit mechanics, when you swing a crowbar for instance you swing in real life but the vr swings takes ages to catch up. Beware hitting the inflatables and other items, they will shoot you high up into the air. Up to six players can compete, there is also a single player campaign. Customise your player by earning coins playing in multiplayer battles. The game is still early in the making but this is a really fun multiplayer game that will keep you and your friends coming back for more. Quest 3 really shines with this game as its right along the lines of some of our favorite and beloved games such as Moss, Mixture, and Crumbling. Demeter aims for the stars with this beautifully crafted narrative that takes place right in your home. The characters are fantastic and give you the vibe of James Cameron's Avatar. The worlds are really cool and each level is crafted just a beautiful. There are several obstacles and enemies that you must figure out how to navigate around. You can move the levels all over your play space with easy which allows you to really walk around your own house to see all of the hidden items and paths to progress. I really enjoy every aspect of this game which takes a bit to get used to because of its slow pacing. Once you understand how the game properly works, you somehow find yourself loosing time as you want to just keep progressing. This is a really cool game if you are into Mixed Reality on the Quest 3. This detective puzzle solver has great characters with a story and environment that will have you wanting more and more. Retropolis is now available with all its episodes so we can solve those mysteries right away! Retropolis has amazing voice acting with characters that have you captured from the very start. Puzzles are actually a bit more complex and does require some thinking in order to solve them. Each level is broken down into several things that need to be found or solved in order to progress but also setup in a fun and inspiring environment. I love how everything is present to you with an old school detective novel and animations that is just beautiful If your a fan of the first game you do not want to miss out on this new VR sequel! Retropolis 2 is the sequel to The Secret Of Retropolis and it keeps you on your toes just as you would think! This detective puzzle solver has great characters with a story and environment that will have you wanting more and more. Retropolis is now available with all its episodes so we can solve those mysteries right away! Retropolis has amazing voice acting with characters that have you captured from the very start. Puzzles are actually a bit more complex and does require some thinking in order to solve them. Each level is broken down into several things that need to be found or solved in order to progress but also setup in a fun and inspiring environment. This is basically a new version of the former 3DS Emulator called Citra but brought to you for Virtual Reality. The program is pretty easy to install here with Sidequest so all you have to do is install the APK. The tough part is how to get the games. I am not going to say how to get the games but lets just say make sure you are obtaining them by legal means. Make sure your Roms are legit roms and be careful from where you get them. Once you have your rom you must drop the file into a properly labeled folder onto your Quest headset. Once Citra VR is booted up you are able to go through a few setups questions which ask you which folders your games are in and so forth. There are various settings to use within Citra VR as well. The options really dont mean much to the average Joe but there are some pretty cool things you can mess with performance wise if you are interested. The games seem to run pretty well once you do launch your game from the main menu. Remember, this program is in early access and there will be a ton of updates going into the future. There are some problems at the moment like the app crashing, games freezing, and a bit of stuttering in the mixed reality passthrough mode. I will say that it is super fun to play your old school games on a massive screen while still seeing your environment. It really works well with being able to adjust the top screen to your desired position and the bottom screen uses your touch controller laser as a stylus. You can also setup a bluetooth controller is you would like but your quest controllers work just find for the movement and such with the actual game. You can even add cheat codes in just like any other emulator would have if you are wondering about that. I know some of those games were hard! In summary, this is an amazing way to play 3DS games through emulation. The app does need some work but I am sure with so much support and with the creative mind working on it, the app will be here for a long time! It plays more like a rhythm game, where you have to hit timed ques. This time though, its not to music, but to a boxing theme with mutants and mini games.The game has a arcade, cartoony look to it, but don't let that fool you. This game can really workout you out. You will work the upper body doing punches, jab and hooks. The core will feel it from the crunches and twists and finally the lower body will feel it from doing squats.After using this app, you can feel you have workout your muscles and cardio system. If you are looking for an arcade boxer like Creed, this is not it. If you are looking for a fun fitness app, that is not rhythm based, this is the app for you. If you pre order now you get some cool crash test dummy skins. In my video I play Vail for the first time. One thing I noticed was lots of lobby’s all full which is a huge win for these type of fps multiplayer games. I also enjoyed how non toxic my games were, everyone I played with and against were very cool. It’s fairly straight forward to play, you can choose your load outs before you go in. Part of your choices are to take in grenades, smoke grenades, flash bangs etc which attach to your wrists, then there is a good selection of guns. Plenty of game modes too, I played all v all, team death match and artefact. Upon release it will be cross play too with the steam version so plenty of full lobbies which is why I think this game is well priced at 15. Check out my video for some fun game play. It’s basically a puzzle game, each scenario has many different ways in which it can be completed. It starts off very basic at first but as you go up through the levels it gets increasingly harder, plus at every new level more track types are added.
