RequiredPlease report your carryover PTO hours from 2023, shown as full hours
(i.e., PTO may be taken in one-hour increments):

To calculate this, start with your total available 2023 PTO (i.e., your accrued
2023 PTO plus your carryover from 2022) and then subtract the amount of PTO used
in 2023.

Example: Accrued 20 days (160 hours) in 2023 and carried over 3 days (24 hours)
from 2022.

Calculation: 20 days (160 hours) plus 3 days (24 hours) = 23 days (184 hours).
Total available PTO in 2023: 23 days (184 hours) minus 21 PTO days (168 hours)
taken = 2 days (16 hours) carryover. The carryover hours that would be reported
on the survey from 2023 into 2024 is 16 hours.

Per the US Paid Time Off policy, a maximum of 5 PTO days (40 hours) can be
carried over from one calendar year to the next, unless otherwise required by
state or local law, as noted below.

Exceptions for employees working in the following locations:

• California employees: There is no set limit on carryover days but there is a
maximum amount of PTO that can be accrued at any time. The maximum accrual
amount is 1.5 times the number of PTO days available annually, determined by the
employee’s years of service. Once maximum PTO accrual is reached, the employee
will no longer accrue PTO until their PTO balance is below the maximum amount.

• Chicago and eligible Cook County, Illinois, employees: Permitted to carry over
7.5 days (60 hours)

• Colorado, Montana, and Nebraska employees: There is no set limit on carryover
days but there is a maximum amount of PTO that can be accrued at any time. The
maximum accrual amount is the number of PTO days available annually (determined
by the employee's years of service) plus 10 days. Once the maximum PTO accrual
is reached, the employee will no longer accrue PTO until their PTO balance is
below the maximum amount.

• Montgomery County, Maryland, employees: Permitted to carry over 7 days (56
hours)

• Minneapolis and St Paul, Minnesota, employees: Permitted to carry over 10 days
(80 hours)

• New Mexico employees: Permitted to carry over 8 days (64 hours)

• New York Employees: Permitted to carry over 7 days (56 hours)

• Seattle employees: Permitted to carry over 13.5 days (108 hours)
