Earning Points
How do I join?

You must have a Yoto account to join My Yoto Points program. If you have made a
purchase recently, create a Yoto account using the same email address to get
points from your first order.

How do I earn points?

Piece of cake! You can collect points by referring friends, making purchases,
following us on social media and more. Points will automatically show up on your
account. See all actions you can do to collect points here.

How do I view my points balance?

Log in to your account and click on My Yoto Points to check your balance.

Is there a limit of points I can earn?

There is currently no limit to the number of points you can earn, so go wild
before we change our minds! Just remember that your points expire 1 year after
your most recent order.

I made a purchase with a different email address; can I still get points?

Points cannot be transferred; please ensure you use your Yoto account email at
checkout.

I made a purchase at a merchant site, can I still get rewarded?

No, you can only earn Yoto points for orders made on yotoplay.com,
eu.yotoplay.com and us.yotoplay.com

Is my first order rewardable?

Yes! After your first purchase, you’ll have one month to create a Yoto account
and claim the points for that purchase. You’ll miss out on those points if you
don’t create your account within one month. Please ensure you create a Yoto
Account with the email address you used at checkout.

What does the “approved”, “pending” and “cancelled” status mean?

Approved: You earned these points which can be redeemed immediately. 

Pending: No biggie, these points just need to be verified before you can redeem
them. This applies to purchases and referrals. For purchases, points will be
approved 30 days after your purchase. For referrals, they will be approved
within 30 days from your friend’s purchase. We cannot speed up this process, so
thanks in advance for your patience while your points are pending.

Cancelled: These points will not be added to your account. For example, this
will happen if you cancel a purchase (the points will change from pending to
cancelled) or if a friend you referred has cancelled their order.

I completed an activity but didn’t get points!

It can sometimes take a few minutes for us to process your activity and provide
points. When referring friends, it may take up to 30 days for your points to
become available. It takes 30 days for purchases. If it’s been longer than that,
then please get in touch at hello@yotoplay.com

Spending Points
How do I redeem my points?

Log in to your account, click on My Yoto Points then Spend Points to see how
many Points you have and your options for redeeming them. If you have enough
tokens, you can redeem them directly at checkout or get a free shipping voucher.

I can't see how to redeem my points on mobile, help!

Simply click on Show order summary at the top of the checkout page to see the
points dropdown. From there you can redeem the points you have available. Don't
forget to login before you checkout to see that option!

Why did my points balance go down?

It happens! It might be because you (or someone you referred) cancelled or
returned a purchase. Your points may have expired if it’s been a year since your
last purchase.

What happens if I redeem a reward and then return a purchase? Do I get my points
back?

Once your points have been used, they will not be re-issued. We cannot refund
any Yoto points once used, even if the items you purchased with them are
returned. 

Is there a limit of points I can use at one time?

There is currently a limit of 12,000 points ($100) that you can redeem at once
at checkout. The minimum points spend is 480 points ($4).

How do I leave the program?

That's a bummer! If you no longer wish to collect points, please contact us at
hello@yotoplay.com and ask to be removed from the program. In doing so, you will
lose any points you have earned, and you will not be able to rejoin the program.

Can I convert points to get free shipping?

Yes, you can convert points for a free shipping voucher.
When spending points you can either opt to use the free shipping voucher or
redeem points at checkout.

Can I redeem my points during the promotional periods?

Unfortunately you cannot redeem your points or refer a friend when a promotion
is live on our websites as only one discount can be applied at a time. You will
still earn points during those times.

Can I redeem points using ShopPay?

We are investigating ways to make this feasible, in the meantime, please use a
different payment provider

Referring a friend
Where can I find my referral link?

Log in to your account, click on My Yoto Points then Refer friends to get your
unique link.

How do I refer a friend?

To refer a friend, simply share your referral link with them via email, text,
carrier pigeon, social media – or almost any other way you wish. We ask that you
do not distribute your code via deals sites, Yoto social media posts and
advertisements, or marketplaces*.

Please note that you cannot refer friends outside U.S.A and Canada as your
referral link will not work on other local sites.

*We do not allow the sharing of referral codes in the following places: 
- Coupon sites
- Yoto’s social media posts, pages or advertisements
- Other third party sites and marketplaces such as eBay

If codes are found on any of the above, we reserve the right to ban you from our
program and cancel all tokens gained. Please only use the codes as they are
intended - for inviting your friends and being rewarded for being an active part
of our community!

How do I track my referral status?

Log in to your account, click on My Yoto Points then scroll down to your history
to see your activity.

What rewards do friends I refer get?

By using your referral link, your friend(s) will receive 10% off their first
purchase when they spend $69.99 or more. Please note that the referral code only
works if your friends aren’t already Yoto customers.

Can my friend apply my code after they’ve made their purchase?

Your friends cannot apply your code after they have bought their Player. Please
ensure that they know this when you share your code.

Can I refer myself?

No. You cannot refer yourself and attempts to do so may result in you being
banned from the program.

I’m in the U.S.A or Canada, can I refer a friend based in the UK? Or the EU?

Unfortunately not. You cannot refer a friend in the UK nor the EU if you're in
the U.S.A as your referral link is not valid on their local stores. You can only
refer friends that are able to purchase from the same store as you.
