BFGoodrich T/A KO2. The T/A KO2 represents a perfect balance of all-weather,
all-terrain traction and road comfort, while still providing some seriously
tough looks and even tougher capabilities off-road. T/A KO2 incorporates
innovative tread and siping features to tackle difficult terrain confidently.
T/A KO2 comes in many sizes to best match your Jeep Wrangler's requirements.
Innovative Tread Design. The T/A KO2 features interlocking tread lugs, high
voids and unique 3D siping to provide advanced control on shifting or loose
terrain, while still offering comfort and relative quiet on hardball roads. The
aggressive design of the T/A KO2 nets it a Severe Snow Traction rating that
exceeds RMA standards, making it perfect for all-season performance.
Tough Compounds. The T/A KO2 will go the distance thanks to an optimally blended
compound. Featuring 20% tougher sidewalls, race-proven CoreGard technology to
handle road hazards, and a high cut and chip resistance, BF Goodrich T/A KO2
Tires provide even wear and longevity.
Low Noise Quality. The All-Terrain T/A KO2 Tire gives you the most comfortable
ride possible. Its low road noise quality ensures that you can focus more on
driving and listening to your favorite tune on your Jeep's onboard audio
equipment without being distracted by the tire’s noise.
Standard Limited Warranty. BF Goodrich covers the All-Terrain T/A KO2 Tire with
a 6-year warranty against defects in material and workmanship from the date of
purchase of the original buyer.
Application. The BFGoodrich T/A KO2 All-Terrain Tire was specifically designed
for owners who want to push the envelope in their 1987-2022 Jeep Wrangler. Be
sure to select the appropriate tire size for your application from the options
listed above.
What is the best gear ratio to run for larger tires? When you increase the
diameter of your tires, your vehicle's engine has to work harder to turn them.
Naturally, this will lead to increased fuel consumption and reduced performance.
So, when upgrading to a set of larger tires you should re-gear your rig to
regain this lost acceleration, performance and fuel economy.
Find your original tire size and gear ratio using the chart listed below, the
intersection should be your approximate RPMs at 65 MPH. Then find your new tire
size and follow it across to the closest RPM to your original tires, this will
be your gear ratio choice.
This chart is based on driving at 65 MPH with a 1:1 gear ratio and a manual
transmission in 4th gear. Please note if your vehicle is equipped with an
automatic transmission your RPMs will be higher due to normal transmission and
the torque converter slippage. In overdrive your RPMs will be approximately 15%
to 30% less than indicated.

Ride great
We purchased the tires premounted and balanced and the ride is awesome. They
are quiet but the look is aggressive. Our jeep handles better than stock.

Love these tires
First time buyer for these, and they are wonderful. Amazing grip in anything
from heavy rain, sleet, and snow, all the way to sand. Side wall tread is
beautiful and road noise is minimal. Definitely reccomend

So far so good
Bought these tires in the middle of a N. Idaho winter. The tires on my 2015
JK weren't cutting it. They came as apart of a wheel/tire package so all I
had to do was bolt them on. These tires ---so far, have been great in snow
and ice conditions. They stop well on compacted snow and ice and traction in
deep snow is very good. I'm considering a set for my 4x4 Chevy Silverado.

Great tires for everyday driving
Like many other Jeep owners, I did research on which tires I should get. I
finally decided to go with these and I have no regrets. My Jeep is a daily
commuter so I run these tires every day and they feel great. Not only is the
performance great but they look awesome!

* Q: Novice here: don't want to add a lift kit but would like bigger tires. How
big and wide can get without having to go through the expense of getting a
lift kit? Example, can I get 31" tires that are 17" wide. I have a 2015
Unlimited with the Altitude package. Thanks.
A: Yes, you would be able to fit 31" tires with a 17" in diameter wheel
without having to lift your Wrangler. If you decide to go with a 33" tire
than you would at least need a 1.5" lift kit or leveling kit to properly fit
the wheels.

* Q: I have a 2018 Wrangler Unlimited Sahara with 255/70 x 18s. Can I move up
to 275/65 x 18 T/A KO2s on the stock wheels without other modifications?

A: The 275/65/18 in the BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 Tire will work just
fine on your model.

A: A 12" wide tire is the max size you can mount on factory wheels. Tire
height and sidewall are irrelevant.

would not go any larger than that.

17 or 285 70 17 fit. I see the JLU rubicon come with 285 70 17.
A: Depending on the type of driving you do, either one of those 2 tire sizes
will work

* There seems to be some different answers here. I have a 2015 4dr Sahara With
stock 255/70R/18 which came with the Altitude package. I do want a bigger
tire and want to keep my 18” rims that came with the package. I believe that
equates to a 31 inch diameter tire. Sadly, my garage will only allow me about
another 2 inches max through the door. So I think that means I can do a 33
inch diameter tire. Does that equate to a 265/70R/18 or does that equate to a
275/70R/18? Also is a lift kit/leveling kit needed for either? Thanks!1

A: A lift/leveling kit is not required to clear 33" tires, but it would be
recommended if you wish to retain any articulation. As for standard to metric
conversions for the tire sizes, they're as follows: 255/70R18 = 32.1x10R18
265/70R18 = 32.6x10.4R18 275/70R18 =
33.2x10.8R18

* I have a 2019 Sahara Unlimited 4-Door. I am looking at a 18x9 Fuel Rim. I am
also looking at a Teraflex 1.5 inch Sport S/T1 Suspension Lift Kit, will the
35" BF Goodrich KO2 be too big? Any concerns going this large or should I

A: The 35s will fit, however you will have some rubbing/slapping the fenders
if you hit any big bumps/potholes or go off-roading in any capacity.

A: If your factory tires are 255/70/17, the 275/70r17 are only .1" taller and
.8" wider and will fit your Jeep with no issues unless you are extreme
off-roading.

A: For a TJ it is recommended that you have at least 5-6 inch left with
supporting mods to run 35's.
