1.  Akin Gump.  Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, operates as a limited
liability partnership under the laws and regulations of numerous jurisdictions
both inside and outside the United States.  For the purposes of these Conditions
of Use of Akin Gump Website, “Akin Gump” means Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld
LLP, Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld and Akin Gump LLP, a limited liability
partnership under the laws of New York and operating in the United Kingdom.

2.  These terms applicable to all use.  Any use by you of this website must be
in accord with the terms and conditions stated here.

Complaints. We want to give you the best possible service. However, if at any
point you become unhappy or concerned about the service we have provided you
should inform us immediately, so that we can do our best to resolve the problem.

In the first instance it may be helpful to contact the person who is working on
your matter to discuss your concerns and we will do our best to resolve any
issues at this stage. If you would like to make a formal complaint, a copy of
our full complaints procedure is available on request. Making a complaint will
not affect how we handle your matter.

The Solicitors Regulation Authority can help you if you are concerned about our
behaviour. This could be for things like dishonesty, taking or losing your money
or treating you unfairly because of your age, a disability or other
characteristic.

You can raise your concerns with the Solicitors Regulation Authority.

What to do if we can not resolve your complaint. The Legal Ombudsman can help
you if we are unable to resolve your complaint ourselves. They will look at your
complaint independently and it will not affect how we handle your matter. Before
accepting a complaint for investigation, the Legal Ombudsman will check that you
have tried to resolve your complaint with us first. If you have, then you must
take your complaint to the Legal Ombudsman: within six months of receiving a
final response to your complaint and no more than six years from the date of
act/omission, or no more than three years from when you should reasonably have
known there was cause for complaint. If you would like more information about

If your complaint concerns your bill, you may also be able to apply to court for
an assessment of the bill under Part III of the Solicitors Act 1974. However,
the Legal Ombudsman may not consider a complaint about a bill if you have
applied to court for an assessment of your bill. If all or part of a bill
remains unpaid, we may be entitled to charge interest.

Financial Services. Akin Gump LLP is not authorised by the Financial Conduct
Authority. However, we are included on the register maintained by the Financial
Conduct Authority so that we can carry on insurance distribution activity, which
is broadly the advising on, selling and administration of insurance contracts.
This part of our business, including arrangements for complaints or redress if
something goes wrong, is regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. The
