Thiagarajar Polytechnic College, a premier institution established in 1958 by
the philanthropist Late Sri.Karumuttu Thiagarajar and nurtured by Late

64TH GRADUATION DAY - 2024
Thiagarajar Polytechnic College (TPT) celebrated the 64th Graduation Day on
10.08.2024 in the special auditorium. Principal Dr. V. Karthikeyan (TPT)
delivered the graduation report highlighting the outstanding achievements of the
institution. Vice Chairmen Sri. Chocko Valliappa and Sri Thyagu Valliappa
inspired the graduates with their special addresses.
Our Chairman Shri C. Valliappa offered his blessings to the 64th batch of
graduates and delivered the Presidential Address and declared the Graduation Day
open.
The Chief Guest Mr.A.S.Ramasuwamy President and CEO, Home Fabrics Mills,
Bangalore delivered an inspiring graduation day address through a question
answer format.
The rank holders received their medals and certificates from the chief guest and
dignitaries and all the graduates were awarded with their certificates.
The Graduation Day 2024 concluded with positive vibes of the graduates stepping
into their next phase of lives successfully.

FRESHER'S DAY 2024
Thiagarajar Polytechnic College (TPT) and Sona College of Arts and Science
(SCAS) jointly celebrated their 67th and 8th Fresher's Day respectively on
29.07.2024 in the TPT Sona special auditorium.
Principals Dr. V. Karthikeyan (TPT) and Dr. G.M. Khadhar Nawaz (SCAS) extended
warm wishes to the incoming students. Vice Chairmen Sri. Chocko Valliappa and
Sri Thyagu Valliappa delivered inspiring addresses.
Chief guests Mr. Manoj Shenoy (Managing Director & CEO, Buglerock Capitals) and
Mr. J. Ashok Kumar (Executive Director, Gopi Hospital, Chairman-CII, Salem)
motivated the students with their insightful talks. Chairman Shri C. Valliappa
offered his blessings to the 67th batch.
The event concluded with a lunch hosted by the management. We express our
gratitude to the management, principals, and faculty for their contributions to
the successful celebration.
