IDENTITY AND ACCESS MANAGEMENT PLATFORM ONEWELCOME ACQUIRED BY THALES

Dutch technology goes global under the wings of Thales

Amersfoort, 12 July 2022 – The Dutch platform for digital access, OneWelcome,
announced today that it has entered into an agreement to be acquired by Thales,
a leading provider of cybersecurity solutions. With this acquisition, OneWelcome
are able to roll out their state-of-the-art identity and access management
platform globally. Customers and partners will benefit from expanding the
company’s product portfolio with Thales' cybersecurity, data protection and
privacy technologies. Investments in the OneWelcome technology will also be
intensified as part of Thales' 'Digital Identity and Security’ Business Unit.

One-stop shop for digital access, from employees to consumers
For twenty years, Thales has been a leader in advanced authentication and access
management technology for internal employees’ access to enterprise applications
in the cloud and on-premises. With the addition of OneWelcome, Thales are able
to serve not only employees but also consumers, enterprise customers, business
partners and all other external users. Easy and secure access with protection of
the privacy of all users is the basis of any digital transformation. The
requirements for this in Europe are stricter than in any region and differ per
country and per sector. OneWelcome have brought these together in a flexible and
powerful platform. No other supplier in the market can offer this combination of
functionality with this depth.

Global rollout, with European DNA
OneWelcome have built up an excellent reputation with analysts and over a

Increased investment in digital access
Within Thales, OneWelcome will continue to build on their technology and align
