Having the dual zone system I am able to set my side of the bed too the right temperature for me. Having the perfect temperature prevents me from getting so hot and allows me to sleep in comfort. My wife uses it if she is too hot or cold as needed. We are both pleased how well the BedJet system works. Both of us are staying asleep better. It will take some more tinkering to figure out what settings are best. I am incredibly grateful that I am sleeping through the night now. I was having a lot of troubles getting quality sleep. I started taking sleep supplements but they only work for a short period of time and tend to worsen the sleep fragmentation. Since BedJet, even my worst night was better than the best night I had with all other augmentation methods. It is an investment in our future health. It is worth every penny. I have to admit I was skeptical about all of the reviews that were being posted about Bed Jet, they all seemed to good to be true. Still being extremely intrigued about the idea that I could heat and cool the bed with the press of a button out weighed my skepticism and I bought the Bed Jet 3 Dual Zone system, much to my wife’s dismay. I was buying it mostly for her as she has been years dealing with hot flashes and when she doesn’t sleep, I don’t sleep. We got the system all set up and I was shocked at how “Cool” this little unit can can make the bed feel, like ice box cold. We have the king cloud sheet that is in a category of its own, first it perfectly distributes a gentle pillow of air over your entire body, but the sheets are designed to not have it blowing on your face. Second this top sheet is the softest, most comfortable cotton sheet you could imagine. I am a certified sheet snob, trust me, we’ve tried them all. This could have been a deal breaker if the sheet wasn’t soft, I would have sent the whole system back, instead I now want the company to sell a full set of sheets and pillow cases as they are “THAT NICE”. Now let me get to the heating aspect, we are just getting into the cold nights where I live and it’s so nice to select the “Turbo Heat” or just heat button while I’m getting ready for bed. To jump into a pre-warmed bed is amazing, I used to use the hair dryer to accomplish the same thing and now the bed jet takes care of it, all of it completely adjustable to your preference with either the remote or blue toothed to your device. Now the remote, they really put a lot of thought into this remote, the display is extremely clear with a great font and dedicated buttons to perform particular tasks are expertly laid out and are quiet when you press them. The back light isn’t blinding, subtle enough to see clearly what you need to do, but yet won’t light up the whole room and wake your partner up. The remote wakes up when you pick it up which is a very nice feature and it feels great in the hand. As you can read, we are loving our new Bed Jet 3 and you will too. My wife who was against it the idea, is over the moon with it, she sleeps longer and more soundly. We haven’t even gotten to the biometric sleep settings that you can put into the remote to make your slumber that much better, I’d need more room to write!! Well done bed Jet!!! You can absolutely place any additional bedding such as duvets, etc. on top of the Cloud Sheet, we actually suggest doing so to provide some weight. We do not though suggest placing the Cloud Sheet inside of a duvet cover as this will lessen the amount of air flow that reaches your body. We would suggest the King size Dual Zone size option for use on a European Emperor King size bed which has dimensions 276 x 246cm. The Cloud Sheet is meant to be the top layer sheet just above your body and will be larger than the actual dimensions of the mattress. The Queen and King options will come with our Dual Zone Cloud Sheet which is a single sheet layer with a stitched separation down the middle to create two air flow chambers for each BedJet unit. If you do prefer separate bedding, the Split King option will include two separate Twin XL Cloud Sheets giving each individual their own sheet layer. The BedJet uses the convective method of cooling which is really effective for keeping you cool in bed if your bedroom temperature is 78 degrees and under. It is not a portable air conditioner and not a replacement for no air conditioning super-hot bedrooms (like a 90 degree Arizona summer bedroom with no AC). BedJet uses the cooler air from the floor of your room which is typically a few degrees cooler than your thermostat. When you are in bed you usually feel hot not because your bedroom temperature is too hot, but because your mattress and sheets are trapping your body heat and body moisture. Body moisture is a big deal; you can sweat up to a liter every night without realizing. Our engineers have measured up to a 20% humidity rise trapped under the sheets. The humidity rising under the sheets is actually half the reason why people feel hot and stuffy in bed.
