KEEPING THE BEAT GOING

Musicians On Call has a vision of a world filled with the healing power of
music. Thanks to our virtual programs, MOC has been one of the few charities
that is still able to provide programs directly to patients and caregivers in
hospitals during pandemic restrictions. We have expanded the reach of our
programs to meet the demand of hospital partners and continue to give patients
and caregivers access to music that supports the healing process by improving
mood, pain tolerance and mental outlook, and providing a human connection.



Virtual Performances
MOC Volunteer Musicians perform remotely for patients through 1x1 intimate
performances and hospital-wide concerts across the country.

Music Pharmacy
MOC’s Music Pharmacy gives patients innovative technology to access the healing
power of music at their bedside, including tablets equipped with streaming music
and top-of-the-line headphones, sponsored by Amazon Music and Bose.

MOC Volunteers from across the country have come together to dedicate a song to
aid in the healing process. This playlist is available to patients and anyone in
need of a pick-me-up during the pandemic.

DELIVERING THE HEALING POWER OF MUSIC

For over 20 years Musicians On Call (MOC) has brought live and recorded music to
the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities. MOC Volunteer Musicians have
performed for more than 900,000 people (patients, families and caregivers) at
facilities across the country. Musicians On Call is the nation’s leading
provider of live music in hospitals, serving individuals in facilities ranging
from children’s hospitals to adult facilities, VA hospitals and hospices.











I have volunteered for Musicians on Call for the past 13 years because of the
incredible one-on-one experiences in hospital rooms when no one other than the
patient and I would remember the love that was exchanged.


RACHEL PLATTEN

I enjoy Musicians On Call because it strips down the performing aspect of music
to its most basic function - to share, to heal, to inspire. It's just you and
another person sharing an intimate moment that is actually bigger than the both
of you.


DARREN CRISS

In these times, whenever we can just try to come together, I think, is a
beautiful thing. It was just a fun thing that I was hoping that would brighten
some people's days. And I had a really good time doing it, honestly. What
they've been able to build is really special.


JASON DERULO

Being part of Musicians On Call was special & unique in so many ways. I'm still
amazed when I hear what my songs mean to others and it motivates me to keep up
my writing. Helping people put words to how they feel is a special gift.


LUKAS GRAHAM

Being involved with Musicians On Call has been one of the most rewarding
experiences of my career. I consider it a great gift to be able to share music
and bring smiles to these brave children and their loved ones. It is healing for
us all and I can't wait to do it again!


KELLY CLARKSON

I think all musicians should do this. I think everyone could do it no matter
what music genre you play from. You see people in the hospital all the time,
you're a visitor. To me, to be a part of their day for a minute is a great
experience. This is a day I will never forget.


DARIUS RUCKER

You can actually see and feel a change when it happens and it is one of my
favorite things in the world to be a part of.

It's an amazing experience to go into a room to play music for people who are in
a situation where they can use music as medicine.
