CD Projekt Red North America is currently at work on a sequel to Cyberpunk 2077,
with Phanton Liberty director Gabe Amatangelo leading the charge on the
follow-up. Recent reports have indicated the team is looking to incorporate
multiplayer in the sequel, an understandable decision given the popularity of
similar open-world sandbox Grand Theft Auto V. Beyond this being a poor choice,
as it takes away from the player-driven focus of the campaign, I'd like to see
an improvement on the romantic storylines by offering more things to do with
these characters than scripted cutscenes.

   It'd be great if you could go to your inventory for the clothing and try on
   any clothing choices in the game like an AR shopping experience and simply
   have the price listed for the items. To make it more immersive, they could
   have some of the items be unavailable at times and have a button to indicate
   you are interested in the item so when it later becomes available you get a
   call or text from the shop to let you know they currently have it like how
   the fixers currently contact you about available rides.

Nintendo has confirmed the successor to the Nintendo Switch - which everyone is
unofficially calling Switch 2 for now - will be revealed this year, hopefully
putting endless rumors on its specs to bed. While we still have to wait to see
what the company's cooked up for the new console, we can definitely speculate on
the launch titles we most want to see. Mario might be an obvious choice, but
isn't it time Metroid got some love too? Or maybe the Switch 2 is the best place
for the Wind Waker and Twilight Princess remasters we're still waiting for! What

WHEN WILL DUNE: AWAKENING FINALLY COME OUT?

After years of waiting, Funcom has revealed they are rolling out Dune:
Awakening's first large persistent closed Beta test to PC gamers this week, with
rumblings that the studio has, in general, been ramping up their beta tests in
the hopes of meeting an early 2025 release date. Considering there have been no
concrete updates from the publisher on their intended release for the game, it's
hard to say when it may actually release, but if just to look at the schedule of
2025 releases, March and April would seem ideal candidates for the title. Not
only would March put the game on shelves in time for Dune: Part Two's one-year
anniversary, but both March and April currently lack any AAA-level action games
like Awakening, leaving its sole competitors currently to be Tales of the Shire:
A The Lord of the Rings Game, Atomfall and Football Manager 25.

WERE YOU DISAPPOINTED THAT THE RITO WEREN'T INCLUDED IN THE LEGEND OF ZELDA:
ECHOES OF WISDOM?

Even though the Rito weren't as prominent in The Legend of Zelda games in the
past, at least compared to other species, I was shocked that they weren't
in Echoes of Wisdom. They played such a big role in Breath of the Wild and Tears
of the Kingdom, so I assumed that they would be included in the latest game. I
don't necessarily think they would have made much difference to Echoes of
Wisdom, but I love their design and attitude in general.

DO YOU THINK THE SIMS' RIVAL, INZOI, WILL MAKE IT TO EARLY ACCESS THIS YEAR?

Inzoi has the potential to knock The Sims away from the top spot in regard to
simulation games, and I'm astounded by the quality that I've seen so far. The AI
features look fantastic, and it could revolutionize this style of gaming, but
I'm not convinced it'll follow through with the promise of early access by the
end of 2024. Inzoi is ambitious, but perhaps too ambitious, and with no further
announcements and barely two months left in the year, I won't be surprised if
the release is pushed back.

BEYOND SUPERMAN, WHICH CONFIRMED DCU HERO ARE YOU MOST EXCITED TO SEE IN THE
2025 MOVIE?

While David Corenswet's debut as the Man of Steel in 2025's Superman will no
doubt be exciting, he's not the only confirmed hero who will be introduced in
the very first DCU movie. The Justice League International looks to be involved
with characters such as Guy Gardner's Green Lantern, Mister Terrific, Hawkgirl,
and Metamorpho. Beyond Superman himself, I'm very excited to see how Metamorpho
will be translated into live-action. Played by Anthony Carrigan, Rex Mason aka
Metamorpho can transmute his body into several elements and form them at will.
As such, this will be a fascinating power to see on-screen.

ARE YOU EXCITED FOR JON BERNTHAL'S PUNISHER RETURN?

The first official footage from Daredevil: Born Again has teased what role Jon
Bernthal's Punisher will play when he returns to the MCU. Frank Castle can be
seen wearing his iconic skull logo in the teaser, fighting some bad guys
alongside Charlie Cox's Daredevil. I loved Bernthal's take on the anti-hero in
both the Daredevil series and Netflix's The Punisher, so his return is exciting,
and Frank seems to be back in full force in the new MCU series.

IS ODDITY WORTH STREAMING?

Spooky season is here, and along with it comes the perfect time to cuddle up on
the couch and watch scary movies. Oddity is one of the top performing streaming
films on Shudder, and for good reason. It is an unsettling, intense, and eerie
film, with lots of surprises in store for viewers. Creepy is a great way to
describe this film, making it well worth streaming this Halloween season - or
any time of the year!

WHO SHOULD END UP OWNING THE YELLOWSTONE RANCH IN SEASON 5, PART 2'S ENDING?

While I'd love to see Kayce end up on top, I think Rip is the most likely
candidate and the most true to the story Taylor Sheridan is telling. At the end
of the day, Yellowstone is a succession story about John Dutton's failures to
cultivate an environment where his children can succeed, ultimately destroying
the legacy he tried so hard to build. It makes perfect sense that an outsider
like Rip, who married into the family, would end up on top. The ranch may
survive, but the Dutton name would never run it again.

DO YOU THINK FATIMA IS PREGNANT WITH A MONSTER IN FROM SEASON 3?

In From season 3 episode 6, it was revealed that Fatima is not really pregnant,
or at least not with a human baby. After getting an ultrasound, her worst fears
come true, showing that there is no baby inside of her. So why has she been
having all of these weird cravings for human blood and rotten produce? Is she
infected by the monsters? Or perhaps pregnant with one? Her uterus seems to be
empty, but there could be a reason the ultrasound machine was not able to pick
anything up. Right now, we really are not too sure. Personally, I think that she
is hosting a monster inside of her, somehow. This season they have evolved,
becoming more manipulative and sadistic, so I would not be surprised if this is
their doing.

Lioness season 2, originally titled Special Ops: Lioness during its first
season, has made some changes to the series for its second outing. While Zoe
Saldaña and Nicole Kidman are returning for the second season of the thrilling
series, there will be some differences in the Taylor Sheridan show that viewers
may not see coming. I’ll be giving Lioness season 2 a shot, but it could be
something I put down quickly.

HAS ROBERT PATTINSON'S BATMAN LEFT GOTHAM CITY?

Robert Pattinson's Batman has not appeared in The Penguin, and the hero is
confirmed not to show up in the HBO series' final episodes. There have been many
theories about the reason Batman's missing when a major gang war is going on in
Gotham City. One of the possible explanations for that is that Bruce Wayne left
Gotham. In the No Man's Land story from DC Comics, Bruce leaves after Gotham's
bridges are destroyed to try to get government aid. Batman ends up missing for
months, with criminality rising, which matches The Penguin's story. I believe
that's what has happened.

DOES BILLY ZANE'S MARLON BRANDO MOVIE LOOK PROMISING?

While I'm normally not very into biopics, the plot for Waltzing with
Brando seems rather esoteric and interesting. Images of Billy Zane dressed as
Marlon Brando dressed as Vito Corleone from The Godfather are uncanny, and I'm
excited to see what his performance is like. Overall, I have doubts that this
will become a major awards movie or anything of the sort, but it could be a
unique spin on Brando's alluring life.

WOULD YOU RATHER SEE TOBEY MAGUIRE'S SPIDER-MAN 4 OR ANDREW GARFIELD'S THE
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 3?

As development ramps up on Tom Holland's Spider-Man 4 in the Marvel Cinematic
Universe, fans continue to debate the potential future of Tobey Maguire and
Andrew Garfield in their original webslinger roles, with some being keen to see
them get their proper solo sequels, or at least return for the MCU's future.
Personally, I think Andrew Garfield's The Amazing Spider-Man 3 is the one that
most deserves to be made, largely because his franchise is the one still the
most maligned in the eyes of viewers. There's no denying Maguire's Spider-Man
3 remains an underwhelming finale to his trilogy, but at the same time, it still
feels like one that had enough closure, particularly when paired with No Way
Home's confirmation that he and Mary Jane were able to make their relationship
work. Garfield, on the other hand, did get some proper closure in No Way Home,
but still feels like there's a lot of growth left to be seen in an Amazing
Spider-Man 3.

DID DONNA NOBLE MISS MAJOR DOCTOR WHO EVENTS BECAUSE OF THE DOCTORDONNA?

I have a theory, but I am struggling to find out whether it has ever been
confirmed officially or not. Upon rewatching Doctor Who's "The Runaway Bride," I
took notice of Donna saying she missed the Dalek and Cyberman invasion because
she was scuba diving. She seemed to miss some really major events
coincidentally, and I now think that this was the DoctorDonna impacting her
timeline on purpose. She missed the Auton invasion in "Rose" as well, according
to the novelization of the episode.

JOSH BROLIN IS OPEN TO RETURNING AS THANOS IN THE NEXT AVENGERS MOVIES, BUT
SHOULD HE?

Josh Brolin recently said he'd be willing to return to the MCU as Thanos in
future Avengers movies: "Thanos has to fit if you’re going to bring him back. I
would do anything that the Russos wanted me to do." On the one hand, Brolin
potentially coming back as Thanos could be very intriguing considering the
villain's small role in the comics' Secret Wars event of 2015. That said, I'd be
worried that Thanos could end up overshadowing newer villains, whether it's
Doctor Doom or some other new threat to the MCU.

DOES BARRY LEVINSONS'S JFK ASSASSINATION MOVIE SOUND GOOD TO YOU?

On the one hand, Barry Levinson has assembled a terrific cast for Assassination,
and I'm mostly excited to see Al Pacino starring in another potential hit this
late in his career. On the other, the plot of his film seems so similar
to JFK that I'm going to need more information before I can really get behind
it. I'm curious about what makes this specific journalist's perspective so
engaging and why it merits a whole new movie.

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF GEORGE R.R. MARTIN'S ORIGINAL A SONG OF ICE & FIRE PLANS?

On the one hand, the nice thing about George R.R. Martin's original plan was
that the book series might have been finished by now. However, the merit of A
Song of Ice & Fire as a prolific work of fantasy is how sprawling and epic it
is, with so many more plotlines to fulfill than he originally intended. If he
manages to pull it off, it will all be worth the wait. As for things like Jaime
Lannister becoming king or Robb and Joffrey fighting in battle; they're
interesting, but they don't feel as true to the world he created.

WILL YOU BE GOING TO SEE MOANA 2 IN THEATERS?

Tickets are now on sale for Moana 2 which comes out just in time for
Thanksgiving break, which is the normal release for Disney Animation Studios
films. The trailers and TV spots that have been released show that Moana is a
little older now - and has a little sister - but is still ready for adventure.
Fans have even gotten a small sample of the new music for the film. Personally,
I love animated Disney films. They will always hold a special place in my heart,
so I will definitely be seeing this in theaters. The home release window is
getting longer and longer, and I do not want to be one of the only ones missing
out on what is sure to be a great continuation of Moana's story. I already have
my tickets!

WILL SISTER WIVES PATRIARCH KODY BROWN’S LIES EVER CATCH UP TO HIM?

Kody Brown, the patriarch of the Brown family, has been doing his best to keep
himself looking good on Sister Wives through the years. While Kody and the rest
of his family have been struggling, especially during Sister Wives season 19,
Kody’s lies have become more obvious as time has gone on. I’m worried that
Kody’s lies will never actually catch up to him, and that he’ll never genuinely

IS THE MCU'S 2025 SLATE BEING SO PACKED A BAD SIGN?

Months ago, it was revealed that Marvel Studios was planning to slow down its
production of TV series, spending more time on the development process before
greenlighting new projects and releasing fewer movies every year. However,
thanks to a newly released teaser, the MCU will have 9 projects in 2025, between
animation, TV shows, and movies. While that could make some fans wary due to the
quality issues Marvel faced during the MCU's Phase 4, many of these projects
have been done for some time or have been worked on for years, so the packed
slate shouldn't be an issue.
