Just like in the day of Pentecost as described in Acts chapter 2, there is a position that the Church must take – to be in one accord in one place. A revival is coming, and the Body of Christ, even amidst her wondrous exploits, seems too busy, focused on differences rather than on engendering the unity of faith among believers. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. Ephesians 4:4-6 ABOUT THE VISION OF ONE SOUND REVIVAL One Sound Revival TV is a non-denominational, non-governmental organization made up of believers from all walks of life who hold the conviction of Ephesians 4:4-6 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. – Ephesians 4:4-6 We believe that unity of the church refers to the union of the people of God, in all their various distinctiveS and expressions, bound to God and to one another by the gospel. The unity of the church is to be a reflection of the unity of the one God upon which the church is built. We are on the verge of an outpour of God’s Spirit like we have never seen before – the Last Day revival is at the door! Learn More OUR PUBLICATIONS Revival is the visitation of God which brings to life Christians who have been sleeping and restores a deep sense of God’s near presence and holiness. Thence springs a vivid sense of sin and a profound exercise of heart in repentance, praise, and love, with an evangelistic outflow. -J.I. Packer WORSHIP AND REVIVAL When we hear and relate to the act of worship, words, and songs come to mind but, it is not restricted to words and songs alone. In the Old testament, kneeling, prostrating, and falling face down were all acts of worship, even adoration in silence is an act of worship. The key component in worship, no matter what posture you decide to take, is the involvement of the heart in humility, respect, and total submission to God. This is the worship that reaches and touches God. Many great men both in the Old and New testaments and many more in contemporary times, who have done great things in the name of God, raising the dead, healing the sick, and casting out devils amongst many other things, have mostly had one thing in common – the worship of God with a child-like heart. They did not just focus on having prayer times but, their secret was in READ MORE.... ARCHBISHOP BENSON ANDREW IDAHOSA The name Archbishop Benson Andrew Idahosa is one that cannot be forgotten in a generation that desires to worship a living God. Yes, I mean a living God. Although gone to be with the Lord, his message about God and the display of his power is still imparting many and causing the faith of many to mature, baptizing many young men and women with the power to stand against and destroy evil in this generation. Benson Andrew Idahosa (11 September 1938 – 12 March 1998) was a charismatic pentecostal preacher, and the founding father of the Church of God Mission International with headquarters in Benin City, Nigeria. As the first pentecostal Archbishop in Nigeria, he was well known for his life of faith. READ MORE.... TAKING SOUL WINNING SERIOUSLY A Revival where the salvation of souls is not the focus is not a revival. A Revival brings to the forefront the essence of Jesus’ death and resurrection – the salvation of souls. Many around the world do not even know they need to be saved, they do not realize the reality of the gospel and its saving power. There are certain believers today who are of the opinion that living right and doing good works are all it takes to reach the world and turn people to Christ. Some others also criticize the approach of those who actively evangelize, share tracts and preach the gospel with every opportunity as being too confrontational. READ MORE.... REALITY OF PROPHECY PART 5 JUST LIKE MANDELA: WHAT I SAW 4 DAYS BEFORE HIS TRANSITION The great importance of prophecy to the body of Christ today is the extant Word of God to encourage and guide His people. A prophetic message is “a word fitly spoken” (Proverbs 25:11), from God, “good for edifying, as fits the occasion, that it may accord grace, faith to those who hear” (Ephesians 4:29). These may be words of comfort, assurance, exhortation, admonition, exposure, and correction – all of these are intended by the Spirit to bring and maintain renewal in Christ’s church, to cause the church to move forward, grow and mature according to the will of God in their Faith in God and all that concerns him. Can the kind of miracles Jesus did in this time still happen today? Undoubtedly, yes! He does not change. Malachi 3:6 – For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. The God of the Bible is the same God today. Hebrews 13:8 – Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever. God is always known to favor His children (Psalm 84:11), and like a good father, He delights in giving His children what they need. Matthew 7:11 – If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father, which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? READ MORE.... PREPARE FOR REVIVAL The journey to supping with Jesus, the journey to a revival is detailed all over the scriptures and Revelation 3:20 captures that journey. “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hears my voice, and opens the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” The willingness of the Father to bring us to Him and Him with us is not in question. His willingness is too consistent for us to doubt. Why then do we not experience revival? Here are some questions we really need to ask: READ MORE.... VISION OF THE NAKED BABY VISIONS OF REVIVAL (PART 4) “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he” — Proverbs 29:18 Spiritual counters and visions are one of God’s ways of communicating H is intentions, His will, and His desires to His people. God does not at any time want His people groping in the dark concerning any aspect of life especially in their walk with Him and so, under the subject of revival, He is very much interested in ensuring that we know what to do per time or what not to do in order to experience the revival He has promised. The worship of money and agendas to uproot Christianity in the land are evidence that the Church is losing her fire. Nigeria, like many other African countries, has become a killing field of defenseless Christians as she is now home to some of the world’s deadliest groups, Boko Haram, ISWAP, and Armed Fulani herdsmen. Recent reports revealed that there are close to a million unreached people groups and close to half a million Muslims who need Jesus. READ MORE.... PAST REVIVALS (PART 5) WHEATON COLLEGE REVIVAL 1995 On November 9, 1994, there was an all-campus day of prayer. 200 students came to the first prayer time, which began at 5:30 a.m. that day. Timothy Beougher, a professor, had attended the North American Convocation on Revival in North Little Rock, Arkansas, from February 14-17. READ MORE.... WHY SHOULD WE PRAY FOR REVIVAL? PRAYER FOR REVIVAL (PART 5) In the words of Arthur Tappan Pierson, “There has never been a spiritual awakening in any country or locality that did not begin in united prayer” All revivals can trace their roots back to the place of prayer and if we want to see the church revived again, we would need to give ourselves and our time to prayer. No prayer, no revival! We must learn to start and end our day in the place of prayer. We must commit to intense and earnest prayer and when we are already on fire, we can get others to join us in prayer. Start Now: You can start praying now and always with these prayers. READ MORE.... UNITY IN THE BODY OF CHRIST (PART 4) Genesis 11:1, 4, 6-8 And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do; and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech. So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth; and they left off to build the city. READ MORE....
