HOW TO JOIN A REMOTE SESSION

ENTER THE SESSION ID

Enter the session ID provided by your technician, provide your name for the
technician to identify you and then click on Join session to start the join
process.

 


DOWNLOAD THE FILE

Download the join app provided for you based on your operating system. Once
downloaded run the file on your computer to join the remote session.

 


JOIN THE SESSION

Accept the confirmation prompt to give access to the technician. Once accepted
your session will be established and the technician can access your device.

1. WHY WOULD I NEED TO REMOTE CONTROL MY SMARTPHONE FROM A PC?

Remotely controlling your smartphone from a PC can be useful in a variety of
situations, such as when you need to access files or data on a phone in a
different location, or when you need to remotely troubleshoot a customer’s
phone.

Zoho Assist uses SSL and 256-bit AES encryption to secure the connection between
your PC and phone. You can rest assured that all your data is end-to-end
protected.


3. IS IT POSSIBLE TO TRANSFER FILES BETWEEN MY PHONE AND PC DURING A REMOTE
SESSION?

Yes, Zoho Assist, web-based remote support software, is equipped with file
transfer functionalities, enabling seamless file transfers between your phone
and PC during remote control sessions.


4. HOW TO CONTROL MY ANDROID PHONE FROM MY WINDOWS 10 PC?

Visit https://assist.zoho.com/ on your Windows 10 PC to begin a remote support
session. Share the session ID through email or SMS to your Android phone.
Concurrently, download and install the Zoho Assist Customer app on your phone.
This enables you to take remote control of your phone by entering the ID and
joining the ongoing session.


5. CAN I REMOTELY CONTROL MY PC FROM MY PHONE?

Yes, you can. All you need to do is install the Zoho Assist Technician app on
your phone and start a session. You can remotely access your PC after joining
the session by entering the unique 9-digit session ID.
