After years of wear and tear these stairs were looking warn out, cracked and sad. NCR to the rescue! The damaged concrete and delaminated render was remove where required & repaired using a high strength repair mortar. To protect the staircase surface from future concrete degradation an anti-slip & UV stable membrane was applied. The units below the concrete roof we’re experiencing water dripping through there ceilings that was caused by the failed membrane that let water penetrate the cracks on the roof . The failed sheet membrane was removed, exposing the concrete slab. All cracks in the concrete slab were sealed, preparing the surface for the new membrane. The building is located across the road from the beach and although the view is amazing, the wind and salt from the ocean has battered the building over the years. Concrete spalling was removed and the exposed reinforcement was treated to protect from rust.
