ABOUT US



The Mpoto Foundation was established by architect Danny Mpoto in 2024, with the
aim of promoting sustainable environmental culture.
The foundation is committed to supporting areas of the Democratic Republic of
Congo affected by natural disasters due to climate change to help vulnerable
people. It is essential to involve the Congolese population affected by this
degrading environmental situation to obtain the necessary information to develop
environmental preservation strategies in order to guarantee a better life for
future generations.



MISSION

Our mission is to foster interdisciplinary collaboration between specialists
such as architects, designers, urban planners, environmentalists and engineers



We have been deeply affected by the latest flooding event in January 2024 in the
Democratic Republic of Congo due to rising waters in the Congo River. 



This situation worries us very much. This is how we are committed to supporting
those affected, whether those who live near the river or in the city center. We
must anticipate events by proposing sustainable solutions to support the
sustainable development of our cities and preserve future generations.
