and what better way to discover the food and gin culture that proliferate in the
area than to sip your way around it. This is a walk with gin at its heart. In
1733 the average Joe was glugging about 14 gallons of the stuff a year and ‘raw’
might be a good way of describing the flavour. Moving on, to 2021 and our ‘Gin
and Tonic’ is rather more sophis, and we expect our tonic to be filled with as
many botanicals as the gin, with maybe a swirl of juniper berries to add a light

Shrove Tuesday it is for every day. These pancakes are simply puffs of delight.
The flour is sourced from Shipton Mill, the bacon from Swaledale, and the maple
syrup is most definitely ‘A’ grade. Flour and eggs battered into deliciousness.
There are pancakes to delight every taste bud. Are you sweet or savoury? Vegan
or Veggie? Going wheat free. No problem. Dairy free? Bring it on. From morning
to night there is a pancake with your name on it. A tea delight could include a
topping of strawberries and cream or they could be just be served as an aside
adding cheer to a glass of Prosecco or a signature cocktail. Think about it. A
Mississippi Mule with a smoked salmon blini - the afternoon just got even
better. The space itself was pre-constructed and then shipped from Amsterdam,
before landing in Arch 35a under the railway on the Southwark Bridge Road. The
style is Scandi and small children and dogs are welcomed with high chairs for
some, bowls of water for the others. For once the name really does reflect the
menu. This is very simply ‘Where the Pancakes Are’ - but as pancakes go they
