WHAT IS LAUNCHPAD?

Our group lesson program has been redesigned in 2024 with both member and team
feedback — for our 2024 Launchpad program!

Launchpad combines the best of both worlds into a value-packed program to
address the needs of and support our curious and developing young musicians!

EACH TERM OF LAUNCHPAD INCLUDES:

– 4 weeks of 20 minute Individual (1:1) time with your group’s Music Mentor

– 4 weeks of 30 minute, 1:4 small group workshop or ensemble time

Plus:

– Individualized feedback, goal setting and benchmarking (coming soon!)

– Plus video content to support your learning reinforcement for the entire
school year from your workshop’s Mentor!

2024 BAND PROGRAMS

Our after school band programs are a great place to consolidate your skills on
an instrument you’re already studying. By spending extra hours ‘speaking’ the
language of music and learning to listen and respond to others in an ensemble
you’ll fly along in your development as a musician!

Junior Band (Year 1-3) – includes 8 x 40 min rehearsals per term | 1:6 ratio

Senior Band (Year 3-6) – includes 8 x 60 min rehearsals per term | 1:6 ratio

**2024** The Ranges Music Network is planning a number of structured (concert)
and less structured (open mic) events for our musicians to perform. Soloists,
small groups and big ensemble opportunities + pre-recorded / video performances!

ROCK ORCHESTRA WILLRETURN!

The Rock Orchestra had an awesome debut at our November MRYIM Youth Music Fest
in Lancefield. Combining instrumentalists & singers from Brass, Woodwinds,
Guitars, Strings, Keyboards, Drummers & Voices — this new take on the Orchestra
will salute the classic rock idols! Year 4/5+ to Adult — learn with your teens!

OPPORTUNITIES FOR EVERYONE!

We have fun, inclusive & accessible Group Lesson programs in a variety of
instruments and styles running at all of our schools! $28 / week for the first
musician and then $18 / week for the rest of the family.

Individual Programs – We have 20 and 30 minute Individual lessons subject to
availability.

HOW TO ENROL:

MR YIM (MACEDON RANGES YOUTH IN MUSIC)

The Ranges Music Network and Ranges Events are proud to create this regular
opportunity for local young musicians and bands to connect, receive mentoring
and create great music in Woodend! There are MR YIM Open Stages every month at
