SUSTAINABILITY & DURABILITY DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
We believe that office furniture should be guaranteed for a minimum of 15 years.
The short lifespan of "fast" furniture is not sustainable and isn't good for the
planet. Plain and simple: it's not what we do. UPLIFT Desk products are designed
and built to last, and our customer support and warranty teams are eager to help
make sure that happens.
MINDFUL PACKAGING DESIGN
Our package design has two goals: protect the product & reduce environmental
impact. All stand-up desk frame packaging is 100% recyclable and EPE foam-free.
We are constantly working toward using better and less materials in all product
packaging.
PLEASE RECYCLE CARDBOARD
Cardboard is 100% recyclable and biodegradable, as it has the least
environmental impact of any packaging material. Recycled cardboard uses 90% less
water and 50% less electricity than manufacturing new cardboard.
SOLAR POWERED OPERATIONS
Our Austin facilities produce over a megawatt of electricity through
roof-mounted solar panels on three large warehouses.
We produce more electricity than we consume.
ONE DESK, FIVE TREES
We plant 5 new trees in U.S. National Forests for every 1 solid wood desktop
sold. This helps offset our own environmental impact and ensure the resources we
enjoy today will continue to be available for future generations.
We have planted over 330,000 trees with the National Forest Foundation.
Wood is one of the best and sustainable materials to use, as it consists mostly
of carbon and is an effective way to not only trap carbon, but repurpose it too!
