Featuring 1,293 bespoke pieces of content, The Chat was the UK’s first WhatsApp-based drama series, unfolding in real-time through voice notes, videos, images and texts sent between a fictional group of friends supporting each other through a breast cancer diagnosis. In this online event, we bring together the client and agency team to tell the story of how The Chat came about, why it was important and what marketers can learn from it. W e're also very lucky to be joined by BAFTA winning actress, Rakie Ayola, who played Heather in the series. In 2020, she won a Black British Theatre Award for The Royal Court and National Theatre Wales production, On Bear Ridge. She can currently be seen on BBC iPlayer starring in The Pact Season 2.
