Great question! In looking through the owner's manual, it states the
following:
Install and store the appliance where it will not be exposed to
temperatures below freezing or exposed to the weather. As long as your
laundry room meets these guidelines, then you should be able to install

DOES THIS PRODUCT WORK ON A GFCI OUTLET? I HAVE A BRAND NEW HOUSE AND I AM
ON MY SECOND MACHINE AND IT KEEPS TRIPPING WHEN IT IS ON THE DRY CYCLE.
DOES THE MACHINE NEED TO BE REPLACED? I KNOW THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH
THE OUTLET, I EVEN TESTED IT.

Hi Jay01. The NEC National Electric Code) requires GFCIs on all
exterior and bathroom receptacles (another term for outlets). GFCIs are
also required on all receptacles serving kitchen countertops. In
laundry rooms and utility rooms, GFCIs should be installed on outlets
within six feet of sinks, washing machines, and water heaters. The LG
Styler® Smart Wi-Fi Enabled Steam Closet with TrueSteam® Technology and
Exclusive Moving Hangers, Model # S3WFBN does not require a GFCI
outlet. It should be installed in an area where the temperature must be
between 50°F (10°C) and 95°F (35°C). If the ambient temperature is too
low or high, performance may be affected. It should not be installed in
direct sunlight or where the temperature may fall below 32°F (0°C).
A GFCI uses a current transformer to detect the difference between the
line current supplied to the load and the neutral current returning
from the load. Ideally, this difference should be zero because both
currents cancel. If there is a current differential, it becomes the
input to a comparator within the GFCI, which changes states when the
differential is around 6 mA. When the comparator changes states, it
triggers a silicon-controlled rectifier, which disconnects the power
from the output of the GFCI. Ground faults occur when electrical
current finds an unintended path to ground. The usual suspects for
ground-faults include worn insulation, conductive dusts, water, or
other "soft grounds." Ground faults account for more than 80% of
equipment short circuits and in 90% of those cases it is caused by
insulation deterioration on wires and cables. If a human becomes the
unintended path, current as low as 75 mA can trigger ventricular
fibrillation (i.e., when the heart stops pumping, which leads to
cardiac arrest).
Another name for a ground fault is leakage current. Although wiring
insulation is designed to keep electricity in the conductor, all
insulators have some conductivity. While not perfect, even air can be
an insulator. Insulation conducts current through both electrically
resistive and capacitive paths. If insulation is old or damaged its
resistance is lower and leakage current could become substantial. The
insulation protecting longer conductors has higher capacitance, which
can cause even more leakage current.
On GFCI-protected circuits, leakage current can cause unnecessary and
intermittent tripping. When troubleshooting these intermittent "ghost"
trips, sometimes looking for the leakage current culprit can be costly.
When many pieces of equipment are operating on a circuit, the leakage
current is cumulative and could be in the order of milliamps. Adding
more equipment to a GFCI-protected circuit could cause a GFCI to trip
randomly, making the problem difficult to diagnose...^Ivan

The instant the GFCI detects there is even the slightest current
leakage as low as 0.005 amps, it trips right away. You can try
unplugging the LG Styler® Smart wi-fi Enabled Steam Closet with
TrueSteam® Technology and Exclusive Moving Hangers, Model # S3WFBN, and
everything on that circuit and make sure all the switches are off.
Check for any wear that may have occurred to the equipment. Any slight
damage means the electrical part is no longer protected from contact.
The accumulation of moisture is another major cause of GFCI tripping,
and circuit overload occurs when more amperage flows through an
electric wire or circuit than it can handle. This may happen if you
connect malfunctioning or defective appliances. Loose, corroded wires
or connections may also be to blame. Once the GFCI outlet senses an
overload, it trips or "breaks" the circuit.
If your GFCI outlet trips consistently, it could be an electric fault
resulting from faulty structural wiring. An electrical outlet connected
to the same circuit could also be the source of the problem, especially
if it was not part of the original wiring of your home. In the case of
an electrical fault, you will need a professional electrician to fix
the problem...^Ivan

Regrettably, neither the specifications nor the owner's manual for the
LG Styler® Smart Wi-Fi Enabled Steam Closet with TrueSteam® Technology
and Exclusive Moving Hangers, Model # S3MFBN lists a capacity for the
water supply tank. A full water supply tank can be used approximately
four times, depending on the cycles used. The first time the Styler is
used, 2/3 of the water in the fully filled water supply tank is used.
Less water is used in the following cycles. You will need to check the
water in the water tanks before use. The water supply tank must be
filled with water before use. The styler does not work without
