An alumnus from IIT Bombay and IIM Bangalore, Saumil is the Co-Founder and CEO
of SportzVillage. Over the past 2 decades, Saumil has been working with schools,
federations, policymakers and sponsors for creating opportunities for children
to experience the magic of sports. He has personally engaged with more than 1,
00,000 children and 50,000 parents.

He is also the recipient of the prestigious “Emerging Entrepreneur Award” by CII
and has been recognized as one of the “Top 50 Leaders Influencing Education” by
Education World. An ardent sports lover, Saumil continues to follow his passion
for sports through regular badminton, karate and golf sessions.

In his current role, Parminder helps leading corporates and brands align their
business mandate with measurable social impact – through Sportz Village’s Sport
for Change and Experiential Sports Marketing platforms. Previously, as Head of
Business for Sportz Village EduSports, Parminder has advised leading
educationists, policy makers and development specialists in integrating sport in
learning and development environments for children and youth.

Before Sportz Village, Parminder has had another stint as an entrepreneur in the
technology space – and has also run leadership roles in mid-sized and large
corporate firms in India and abroad. His other interests include running,
hiking, golf, long drives – and good parenting.

KRISH IYENGAR

Krish joined Sportz Village in 2016 and currently heads the Sportz Village
Schools’ business (formerly known as EduSports) along with the marketing efforts
for Sportz Village group. Krish has been focusing on enhancing the overall
experience that Sportz Village provides to children with the help of the
age-appropriate curriculum, processes, and assessments.

Prior to joining Sportz Village, Krish worked with several multi-national
companies such as Intel, Siemens, Arvind Mills and Standard Chartered Bank.
Krish has also been a part of a few startups in India and Australia, across
technology and retail verticals. Krish enjoys playing football, tennis and
badminton. He likes to go on treks with a regular group and is passionate about
traveling.

In his current role, Shatadru is responsible for managing the Finance operations
and governance across Sportz Village group companies. He brings with him 30
years of rich Finance experience gained across diverse sectors like
Manufacturing, Renewable Energy, Education, and Sports Technology, amongst
others. Prior to joining Sportz Village, he was the Interim Group CFO for a
PE-controlled Education group.

An IIT Kanpur and IIM Lucknow alumnus, Shatadru has held CFO roles in MNCs like
GE, Xerox & Boston Scientific apart from Indian listed corporates and VC-funded

Nauzar is currently is heading the Credit Control and Risk dept at Sportz
Village Schools, and is responsible for the end-to-end billing and collection
cycle. Previously, Nauzar had managed various verticals such as operations,
delivery, supply chain and logistics within Sportz Village Schools.

Nauzar has also worked in the manufacturing space donning the hats of factory
manager, purchase manager, production associate and head-merchandiser in the
leather garments/commodities and synthetic goods space, where he was responsible
for bringing in operational efficiency. His keen eye for improving business
processes as well as process re-engineering has helped organizations improve
profit margins and reduce costs.

Prateek has been associated with Sportz Village Schools almost since its
inception, playing various roles in the organization spanning Sales & Operations
and is currently heading Human Resources for Sportz Village. Prateek comes from
a sports background and has been a Junior National level Badminton player.

Post completion of his MBA from Nirma University Ahmedabad, he has worked in
Banking and Financial Services Industry with the likes of ICICI and Citibank. He
actively plays tennis on the ITF Senior circuit.

Nupur currently heads Partnerships at Sportz Village, aiming to provide ample
opportunities for children to reach their full potential in sports, in a
systematic school-led way. An alumnus of BITS Pilani, Nupur has been driving
various New Initiatives at Sportz Village to get kids to play, fall in love
and/or excel in sports in a sustainable way! She also drives organization-wide
Data strategy to unlock consumer and business insights.

 

With a passion to uplift sports as an important and enviable part of a child’s
education, Nupur stepped into the sports industry post her stint in management
consulting. She has previously worked with top-tier companies like Bain & Co,
PwC and Nielsen in providing strategy consulting to large corporate firms in
India and abroad. She has pursued Masters in Sports Administration from AISTS,
Lausanne. Nupur loves to play sports and has been a Junior National level
Cricket player.
