With BOTOX® Cosmetic or Dysport®, a similar neuromodulator, patients can enhance
their beautiful smiles with smooth, youthful facial skin. These products are
designed to prevent overuse of facial muscles that commonly lead to expression
lines. After treatment, you should begin to notice frown lines, crow’s feet, and
other expression-related wrinkles soften as the muscles of the face relax. There
should be zero downtime after treatment and injections usually take as little as
15 minutes. You can return to your daily activities immediately and anticipate a
fresher, more youthful look that often lasts as long as three months. Results
are not usually noticeable right after treatment, but they should be visible
within two weeks.

KYBELLA® DOUBLE CHIN REDUCTION

KYBELLA® is currently the first and only injectable that is FDA-approved to
reduce excess fat under the chin and around the neck, resulting in a slimmer and
more defined facial appearance. If you are struggling to minimize fullness in
this area, KYBELLA® can be a highly effective treatment to reduce a “double
chin” and contour the jawline. This works through its active ingredient of
deoxycholic acid, a naturally occurring molecule in the body that helps break

RADIESSE®

RADIESSE® is a calcium-based dermal filler used to minimize nasolabial folds

an aqueous gel, allowing immediate volume correction in the area of injection.

JUVÉDERM® VOLUMA XC

JUVÉDERM® Voluma XC can be a highly effective dermal filler to correct volume
loss around the cheeks and mid-face. As individuals age, facial sagging may
cause the appearance of sunken cheeks, nasolabial folds, and other signs of
aging. JUVÉDERM® Voluma XC is specifically designed to combat this age-related
volume deficit by lifting the skin, adding definition around the cheeks, and
restoring the youthful contours of the face. The results are among the
longest-lasting when compared to other injectables, with many patients seeing
improvement for up to two years.  




JUVÉDERM® VOLLURE XC


As another variation in the JUVÉDERM® product line, Vollure® XC is designed to
target lines surrounding the nose and mouth, such as nasolabial folds and
marionette lines. JUVÉDERM® Vollure XC is composed of hyaluronic acid, a
naturally occurring substance in the body that helps the skin retain fullness
and moisture. While all JUVÉDERM® fillers are hyaluronic acid-based, the
Vollure® XC solution has the benefit of including a topical anesthetic to
improve patient comfort upon injection. JUVÉDERM® Vollure XC can smooth
mid-facial creases for as long as 18 months.




JUVÉDERM® VOLBELLA XC


For patients looking for subtle lip augmentation, JUVÉDERM® Volbella XC can be
an excellent treatment to produce a natural-looking enhancement in the shape and
size of the lips. Along with achieving a plumper and more noticeable pout,
Volbella® XC can also smooth vertical wrinkles on the lips known as “lipstick
lines” or “smoker’s lines.” The hyaluronic acid formulation also includes
lidocaine, a topical numbing agent, to increase comfort during injections.
Results can last for several months and many patients even notice improvement
for as long as one year.



JUVÉDERM® ULTRA 


Depending on your needs, JUVÉDERM® Ultra offers dual volume enhancement in the
lips as well as mild to moderate nasolabial folds. This application of JUVÉDERM®
is designed to add fullness to thin lips and/or smooth the lines that extend
from the nose to the corners of the mouth, often resulting in a more rejuvenated
look in the entire lower face. With optimal treatment, JUVÉDERM® Ultra can
provide results for up to one year.




JUVÉDERM® ULTRA PLUS XC


Like most dermal fillers, JUVÉDERM® Ultra Plus XC can add volume to depressed
areas of the face for a smoother, fuller look. However, the JUVÉDERM® Ultra Plus
formulation stands out from other injectables for its thicker gel consistency,
allowing it to treat deeper nasolabial folds and marionette lines when compared
to the regular JUVÉDERM® Ultra solution. Due to the viscous nature of the
filler, JUVÉDERM® Ultra Plus XC can also help reshape facial contours around the
cheeks and jawline. The outcome typically lasts for 6 to 12 months depending on
the area of injection.
 



RESTYLANE® AND RESTYLANE® LYFT

Restylane® is another collection of hyaluronic acid dermal fillers that can
enhance facial volume. The original Restylane® injectable is utilized to smooth
lines and facial creases, including parentheses wrinkles and marionette lines,
while Restylane® Lyft is designed to augment the cheeks and the backs of the
hands. Restylane® is also FDA-approved to add volume and definition to the lips.
These products can last anywhere from 6 to 18 months, providing you with
long-lasting facial rejuvenation to frame your smile.  


BELOTERO® BALANCE

While similarly composed of hyaluronic acid, BELOTERO® BALANCE is a dermal
filler that is uniquely designed to integrate into your facial tissue for almost
immediate restoration of volume. Since BELOTERO® BALANCE is composed of a soft,
cohesive gel, it has the versatility to treat deep nasolabial folds and
marionette lines as well as more delicate wrinkles above the lip. You should be
able to see an improvement immediately after treatment and results can last
approximately six months, depending on whether your injections were in highly
active areas of the face. 


HOW IS TREATMENT WITH INJECTABLES PERFORMED?

Facial rejuvenation with BOTOX® Cosmetic and dermal fillers is non-surgical and
completed relatively quickly. Patients usually feel no pain during treatment,
but some products also include a local anesthetic in the formula to allow more
comfortable injections. Using an ultra-fine needle, your injector will deliver
meticulous amounts of the product into targeted regions of the face. Some
swelling or bruising may arise after treatment, but these reactions should
subside naturally. Most of the time, injections take no longer than 15 to 20
minutes and can be completed during your lunch hour.
