The Asian Import Automotive Sales Director will own the West Coast Automotive
OEM business and contribute significantly to our 2022 growth plan and beyond. In
this position, you will be responsible for creating and scaling a robust book of
business focused on agencies and brands against the Asian Import OEM automotive
vertical.




In this role, you will help to determine and refine the proper strategy,
approach, and execution for the West Coast market. Your primary objective is to
expand Ogury’s business to advertisers in the market and grow revenue
significantly through the pursuit of meaningful and lasting partnerships.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do




 * Build awareness and adoption of the company’s mobile offering with agencies
   and client-direct channels, done via email reach out, client presentations,
   conference attendance and direct sales.
 * This is an IC (Individual Contributor) role and largely includes new business
   development and sales skills with ongoing relationship management.
 * Develop and execute sales strategies for long-term revenue growth and
   strategic partnerships.
 * Engage with senior advertiser executives to support sales team efforts and
   drive deal growth.
 * Assist the sales team in identifying and prioritizing effort against key
   decision makers across large holding companies, as well as their internal
   business partners and agencies.
 * Handle sales and account team escalations and client escalations as needed.
 * You will serve as a trusted advisor, sharing insights and continuously
   seeking growth opportunities to deepen client partnerships. 
 * You will own the full sales cycle from prospect to close, working with a
   variety of stakeholders - both internally and externally - along the way.
 * You will report to the VP, West Coast Sales Lead.

Qualifications

Who You Are:




 * You have 5+ years of experience in online advertising technology sales (video
   / programmatic / mobile), and a 3-year history of scaling revenue
   specifically against the Asian Import OEM Automotive category.
 * You are located in Los Angeles and an expert on the automotive territory with
   an established network of decision makers across agencies and clients,
   including, but not limited to: Honda/Acura/RPA, Toyota/Saatchi/Lexus/Team One
   and Zenith + Precision, Hyundai/KIA/Canvas, Mazda/Garage Team Mazda,
   Mitsubishi/OMD.
 * You have existing relationships and contacts with key BDM’s across Tier 1 and
   Tier 2 budgets.
 * You understand Managed-Service selling practices.
 * You understand Programmatic selling practices.
 * You understand Platform (SaaS) selling practices.
 * A high degree of creativity, self-motivation, and drive.
 * You have an eagerness to work in a start-up team environment that will be
   rapidly changing.
 * Willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
 * You are an educator and business consultant – connecting with clients to
   maximize their potential and relationship.
