ARK Invest and 21Shares jointly submit a cryptocurrency ETF, promoting a
short-term rebound in cryptocurrencies


On Wednesday, asset managers ARK Invest and 21Shares jointly filed an
application for an exchange-traded fund (ETF) that would provide direct
investment in ethereum, the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency.

The ETF, called the Ark 21Shares Etherum ETF, will host assets with U.S.
cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase (NASDAQ: COIN), marking the first time Ethereum
has been listed on the U.S. market, the two asset managers said in a filing with
the SEC. ETF attempts.

Before this ETF application was submitted, a court ruled in favor of the Bitcoin
spot ETF applied by digital asset management company Grayscale, which was
previously rejected by the SEC - Bitcoin, the world's number one cryptocurrency,
has repeatedly tried to sell in the United States. Submit an application to list
a spot ETF, including a joint submission from ARK Invest and 21Shares. So far,
