CANVAS PRINTS

1. What is Canvas Print?

Canvas Print, as its name, generally refers to professional quality reproduction
of image onto canvas (as base media), instead of paper. The printing technology
is known as Giclée (pronounced “zhee-clay”, is an invented name for the process
of making fine art prints from a digital source).

The word “Giclée”, from the French language word “le gicleur” meaning “nozzle”,
or more specifically “gicler” (meaning: to squirt, spurt, or spray).

Giclées are specifically targeted to being displayed in indoor lighting;
generally bright, direct lighting, such as galleries or offices. Quality
reproduction, color fidelity and long term archivability are the major
attributes of Giclée printing machines.

In general, Giclée is similar to ink-jet or burble jet technology (Inkjet –
commonly used in HP printer; Burble jet – Canon printer). Both techniques use
liquid ink fired through specially designed print heads.

However, the terms have evolved to refer to separate and specific printing
methods and there are major differences between the two.

2. What file format and size are required for printing on canvas?

We accept most digital file formats (e.g. JPEG, TIFF, PNG, PSD, AI, EPS, etc.)
for printing. Ideally, a minimum file size of 1MB and above is preferred.

If your file size is smaller than 1MB or you’re not sure about its quality, you
may email us the file and we will help to check and advise you accordingly.

3. Can I send photo taken by phone for printing?

Yes. Most smartphones today are equipped with good phone cameras, and would
normally be able to produce good printing quality.

You can perform a quick check by zooming in your photo to maximum on your phone
screen, if it still looks clear and sharp (with maximum zoom) then you are good
to go.

We will also help to check the photo quality and advice you further if there is
a need to replace it with another photo.

4. What are the factors I need to consider if I want to use my phone photo for
printing?

The common problems with phone taken photos are the image blurriness caused by
hand-shake or under low light conditions. Night scenes or indoor shots with poor
lighting are normally come with a high noise level which may not look sharp once
they are being enlarged.

You can perform a quick check by zooming in your photo to maximum on your phone
screen, if it still looks clear and sharp (with maximum zoom) then you are good
to go.

We will help to perform necessary photo enhancement and touch-up to improve the
image quality whenever possible.

5. Can I WhatsApp you the photo I want to print?

WhatsApp will compress all image files for ease of transmitting, hence it will
badly affect the image quality and the photo sent this way will not be suitable
to use for printing.

However, there’s a way around it by attaching the file as “Document” (instead of
photo) in the app, that way you could send the original high-resolution file
straight from your phone without compressing it.

(Tips: You could send a maximum of 16MB per file size with WhatsApp.)

6. How do I know what printing size works best for my photo?

You could refer to our size guide for a quick reference.

Alternatively, you may share with us your wall picture and its dimension (width
x height), together with the photos that you wish to display there.

With that, we will be able to recommend you an ideal wall display design and
advise you on the image quality as well.

7. How long does it take to have my order ready?

The production will take around 5~7 working days upon order and payment
confirmation received.

It will take another 2~3 working days for delivery if you opt for delivery
service, depending on the courier company schedule.

8. Do you have rush order service? How fast can you deliver?

Yes, we do have Expedited Service available for rush orders. Typically, we could
have it ready within 2~3 working days, provided that our production can still
fit in your order.

There will be a surcharge for Expedited Service, kindly contact us for more
details.

9. Do you touch-up the photo before print? Is this a free service?

Yes, we do help to touch up the photo and perform necessary photo enhancement
upon request.

We will also send you a Visual Artwork Confirmation file for your review and
approval before we proceed with the printing.

While most of our photo editing and touch-up services are free as we want to
make sure all your photos sent will have their best possible output on printing,
there might still be some design fees incurred if the editing work is complex
and required long manhours to complete the task.

For example, complex editing work such as Photo Restoration on old/damaged
photos, Photo Manipulation, change of background, etc. would require a long and
detailed touch-up process and hence there will be an additional fee charged.

10. Do I get to see a preview of my artwork before you print?

Yes, indeed.

Upon order and payment confirmation received, we will then proceed to perform
necessary photo touch-up and enhancement on the photos submitted (whenever
necessary or upon request).

We will then email you a copy of the Visual Artwork for your review and approval
before we proceed with the printing.

You will be given a clear visual illustration on how your canvas print will look
like and the comparison of before and after the touch-up done. We will only
proceed with the printing once your approval is granted.

11. What are your shipping charges? Do you ship overseas?

We offer FREE Delivery within Malaysia for any canvas prints order above RM299.
If the order value is lower than RM299, there will be a flat RM25 delivery
charge incurred.

We do ship internationally, and the shipping charges are depending on the
printing size, quantity, and destination.

overseas shipping.

12. How long can my canvas last? Will the color fade over time?

Our Museum Grade Fine Art Canvas is printed with 12 colour pigment ink and
coated with 3 layers of Special UV coating, which acts as a water resistant
protective shield against colour fading, moist, dust and abrasion.

This also enables the colour of your Museum Grade Fine Art canvas print to last
over 100 years without having any visible colour fading issue.

13. How do I take care of my canvas print? Is it water-resistant?

Yes, all our canvas prints are water-resistant.

In most cases, using a damp cloth or feather duster to gently wipe clean the
canvas surface is sufficient to clean away any dust or dirt that stays on top of
the canvas print. You may also mix the water with mild hand soap or body wash
for easy cleaning.

(Please AVOID using any other chemical or strong cleaning agent to clean as it
might damage the printing surface.)

14. Can I display my canvas print outside the house?

Our canvas prints are made for interior display and not for outdoor usage,
please do not expose them to continuous strong sunlight in order to maintain and
increase the lifespan of your canvas print.

Do note that high room humidity or drastic change of room temperature daily may
affect the print quality over time. Avoid displaying in the room with such
conditions or try to keep your room dry at all times to prolong your print
quality and colour.

15. Do you provide customization? In terms of size and design?

Certainly, we provide 100% customization on your print size, colour, frame
choice, quantity, and even the design and artwork content.

17. Do you have any warranty on the canvas print that I purchase?

Yes, we provide a lifetime warranty against colour fading on our Museum Grade
Fine Art Canvas Prints.

Other products are having different warranty periods in view of the product
nature of each category.

18. Do you have any ready-made artwork for sell?

Yes, we do have a range of ready-made artwork collections that you could buy
off-shelf.

As we frequently update our artwork collection, kindly contact us and let us
know your image preference so we can forward you the relevant artwork for your
selection.

19. I don’t have any good images for printing; do you have any image libraries
for me to choose?

Yes, we do have a large Artwork & Image collection of different genres. This can
be customized further to suit your preference and requirements.

You can choose from Abstract Art, Modern Art, Minimalism, Architecture,
Landscape, Nature, Wildlife, Forest, Mountain, Floral & Plant, and many more.

We also help to purchase other stock images from different sources if you can’t
find the image that you like from our library.

As we frequently update our artwork collection, kindly contact us and let us
know your image preference so we could forward you the relevant artwork for your
selection.

20. Do you provide installation?

Yes, we do provide artwork installation services for clients who made their
purchase with us.

This installation service is currently limited within Klang Valley (Kuala Lumpur
and Petaling Jaya) only.

CUSTOM WALLPAPER PRINTING

1. How do I place an order for Custom Wallpaper printing?

It’s easy to start the process. You just need to email us your requirements (the
wall size and preferred image), we will then study and revert with our quotation
based on your requirements.

There are 2 ways you can customize your own wallpaper printing:

* Print with your own high-resolution photo (minimum file size 5MB),

* Select your preferred image from our image library.

With the image selected, we will then prepare you with a superimpose visual on
your existing wall. That way, you will be able to visualize the actual outcome
once it is done.

2. Where can I see your wallpaper design?

We do not have a standard template book for you to choose the design from.

We are in fact helping our clients to tailor-make their own wallpaper design
based on their wall size, image preference, colour scheme, as well as the
existing Interior Design setting.

This is a highly customized printing solution that helps you in getting the
right and suitable design that complements your current setting.

3. Can I custom print wallpaper for office or commercial display?

Certainly!

We have done many custom wallpaper printing projects for corporate offices,
hotels, retail outlets and even exhibition backdrops. (See examples)

Feel free to reach out and explore your ideas with us, we will be able to
suggest you a workable solution.

4. Does your Custom Wallpaper Printing come with installation?

We provide wallpaper installation for orders made within Klang Valley (Kuala
Lumpur & Petaling Jaya).

Other orders that need to be shipped outside Klang Valley will not have the
installation included. (The installation cost shall be excluded from your
wallpaper printing cost.)

Outstation orders are advised to engage your local wallpaper installer to carry
out the installation accordingly. We will provide the installation guide inside
your order so your installer can easily follow the guide and install as per the
design.

5. Can you send the Custom Wallpaper to outstation or overseas?

We offer FREE Delivery within Malaysia for any custom wallpaper printing order
above RM499. If the order value is lower than RM499, there will be a flat RM25
delivery charge incurred.

printing size, quantity, and its destination.

7. Do I need to paint my wall first before receiving the new wallpaper?

We recommend to skim coat your wall first to ensure the wall surface is flat and
free from any protruding foreign particles. It is best to have another layer of
white colour base paint before receiving the new wallpaper. (This can be done by
your contractor or painter.)

This will ensure the wallpaper sticks well onto the painted wall and have a nice
and smooth front without seeing the uneven surface.

8. Is it better to use Canvas Print or Wallpaper?

Our canvas prints can print up to 1.5m x 22m (5ft x 65.5ft) in a single piece.

The custom wallpaper can be customized to cover any wall size (as the wallpaper
is pasted onto the wall directly in vertical roll form and join together one
after another).

Canvas Print will last for many years and can be easily relocated to another
display location. It is a popular choice for those that do not need the display
to cover the entire wall.

On the other hand, Wallpaper is meant for covering the entire wall and can have
a more impactful visual experience.

If you’re not sure, please feel free to contact us and we will help to explore
the options that you may have.

9. How long can the wallpaper last?

We use high-quality Wallpaper material that’s printed with eco-friendly inks
that can last 3 times longer than most inferior quality wallpapers. Typically
it can last you for 10~ 15 years, or longer under proper maintenance and care.

10. How do I take care of my wallpaper?

All our wallpapers are water-resistant and can be cleaned using a damp cloth.
You may also mix the water with mild hand soap or body wash for easy cleaning.
