DECEMBER 2023 - WINNER'S POST FOR OUR VERY LAST CHALLENGE




BIG apologies for the delay in giving details of the winners for our final
challenge but things here with me have been difficult as my son emigrated from
the UK to Utah eventually on 28 December 2023.  I miss him dearly but he is with
his beloved fiancé.  Not everyone finds their "special person" so it means a lot
to know that he has and he has wonderful support from her family over there. 
They will have a formal wedding in October this year so it is a trip over to
Utah for us. 

Well, onto the news of the winners for the very last challenge.

The winners are as follows:  

No 9 Kathy is the random winner winning 2 single images of their choice from
the Etsy Store.

No 3 Lillian is the Artist Choice Award winner picked by Ching-Chou Kuik herself
winning 5 single images from the Etsy Store.

Congratulations to both winners.  Please pop on over to the Etsy Store and send
me an e-mail with a link to the images you require as your prize.
 Please note: when selecting digital stamps for a prize, stamp sets do not count
as one digital stamp. You may choose individual digital stamps from a stamp set
but you must clarify carefully what image you would like.

Now onto the sad bit ...... goodbye.

Thank you to everyone that has entered the Ching-Chou Kuik Blog Challenge overs
the years we have been running.  It means so very much to Ching-Chou Kuik and
myself.

We are not going to delete this blog.  I know myself and a lot of other crafters
have Ching-Chou Kuik's amazing images and sometimes we all get a little bit
stuck on how to colour an image or what to make with it.  On the right hand side
of the blog all of the images are listed separately and you can click for the
image you want to colour and hey presto up come cards/projects the Design Team
members have made over the years to give you some inspiration.

We will also keep the Ching-Chou Kuik's Facebook Group page open so if you make
anything you can put it on there for others to see.

Once again thank you to everyone that has supported Ching-Chou Kuik's Blog
Challenge and Facebook Challenge over the years.  It has been wonderful to see
all of the beautiful creations.

Thank you to all of the AMAZING Design Team Members and Design Team Leaders we
have had over the years.  Your creations and friendship have meant a lot.

Last but not least, I would like to thank Ching-Chou Kuik for designing such
amazing images over the years and we shall all look forward to seeing what she
creates in the future.

I partially colored it with alcohol markers and mounted it on glitter paper. I
also added some sparkly ribbon for extra bling.

Good evening everyone. I am not sure if you saw my post the other day explaining
that this challenge will close after December 2023's challenge.  For more

IT'S TIME TO SAY GOODBYE


Good evening everyone. This has been a hard post to write and has taken me a few
days to pluck up the courage.


As you know we shut down the Facebook Challenge earlier this year and kept the
Blog Challenge going. Sadly month after month it does not attract a lot of
entrants despite it being open to all images. Therefore Ching-Chou Kuik and
myself have decided that December 2023 will be the last Blog Challenge and then
the blog will be closed down. The Facebook page will be left open for those to
share their designs using Ching-Chou's amazing images.


We have had some AMAZING Design Team Members/Leaders over the years. We thank
them for their friendship and the mega amazing cards/projects they have made
month after month. If you fancy having a look pop on over HERE and see the first
blog challenge in October 2014.


The challenge for December will go "live" on 1 December 2023 and this will be
our final challenge. I hope you understand that this has not been an easy
decision but it had to be made.

ALICA'S INSPIRATION POST - PURPLE DRAGONFLY




I'm back with another card - this time I used an image called Purple Dragonfly.






I tries something a bit different this time - I printed the digi on kraft
cardstock and colored it with Prismacolor pencils. The pencils give you a nice
coverage but the effect is a bit different than coloring on white.
Try it out too and join our November challenge - there is still a few days left
to play.

It feels almost wintery here so I decided to make a card in cool colors. I used

I used a spotlight technique and matched the pale purple ad grey colors from the
