They saved my cats life when another emergency vet could not. They are hands
down the best staff I could have ever asked for. My cat spent days with them and

We had to bring our lab in after having some breathing issues and swelling in
his neck. They helped quickly as soon as we arrived and were very helpful.
Currently waiting on “official” results, but so far they have been extremely
helpful.

Wonderful staff - everyone was so helpful & so kind during my emergency. My cat
got very sick very fast & it was incredibly shocking & upsetting for me, &
everyone I worked with did a wonderful job of getting me through it! The doctors
did a great job of explaining what was wrong & what they were going to have to
do, they called frequently with updates & even let me come visit while he was

Had to take our Buster there on Christmas Day and was very pleased with their
professionalism and care they provided. It wasn’t the way we wanted to spend the
holiday but knowing he was being taken care of and getting fixed up made it a
little easier. Even our regular vet at his follow up was impressed with the
sutures and how well they were looking in such a hard area to repair (his paw)!

Dr Long is very compassionate and has been extremely helpful to diagnose what
has been happening with my English Bulldog getting reoccurring UTI’s. The entire
staff is very kind and helpful!

The new doctor we had, Dr. Berzsenyi was extremely kind to us and our kitty. She
told us all our options and which outcome she believed would be best but still
left it up to us to decide. The nursing staff was also so nice and helpful
during our late night visit.

They saved our Jimmy. Another ER sent us here not knowing what was.wrong with
our boy and OVRS figured it out and our boy is still.with is. Very caring and
talented doctors there but be ready for a high bill. But we cant put a price on
getting our boy healthy again.

When. our 1 year old Shihpoo "Willow" developed and issue with an ulcer of her
eye, our local Veterinarian referred us to OVRS. We were able to get an a
appointment the next day and were thankful for the friendly and caring way we
were treated by Dr. Zimmer and her staff. The initial exam was completed while

Cared for my kitten Maya when she was very sick at only 5 months old. They were

My Kassie is 14 yrs old, she has a malignant tumor in her left lung. I didn’t
want anything stressful because of her age. The specialist’s here are amazing.
They put me at ease and I feel comfortable with the chemo plan for my furbaby. I
highly recommend Oakland Veterinary Referral Services to anyone.

O.V.R.S has an excellent mission statement if Oakland Veterinary holds up to
that; it is a fantastic place to work. The working conditions are fair but met
head-on, and O.V.R.S does it's best to maintain those standards. The change
required at Oakland is not within the mission but an overwhelming desire to help

I highly recommend OVRS. The care that my furbabies have received over the years
has been caring, compassionate, professional and supportive. Yes, their rates
are higher than a traditional veterinary office but remember this is a pet
hospital, and rates at a hospital, whether human or animal, are higher than an
office visit.
