Hobgoblin Stout is 4.1% in ABV and jet black in colour. With aromas of roasted
malts and chocolate, enjoy the earthy bitterness balanced by hints of coffee,
cocoa and sweet treacle flavours. This Stout is a deceptively dark, yet smooth

Richard BaldwinIt says Wychwood Brewery on the packaging. This is false
representation as the Behemoth that is Carlsberg Marstons closed down that
brewery and now produces a much more inferior product from Burton. This is
shameful saying it is brewed in Wychwood when it isn't and all the damage you
have caused to the local economy in Witney. Will never buy any beers from
Carlsberg Marstons due to the damage they are causing to the brewing industry

Steve JealRIP Wychwood, now a pale imitation and just 'using the name' an IPA at
3.4% Marstons doing what they do, Hobgoblin Ruby Bottled has been watered down
and price gone up, understandable the draught being weaker due to tax etc back
in the day, thankfully 'King' is about 75% what it was and still drinkable and
still 6.6% for the time being, give it a year will be knocked back to 6% aka not
the same beer, like they did with Ringwood Old Thumper and they shut down that
brewery as well. I am old, change the beer and it is a different beer don't call
it the same and try to sell it as the same beer, I am old and grumpy but don't
take the piss..
