addressing the unique challenges and joys of women’s health. Dr. Barnes joined
Rory to lead the clinical team, build the medical advisory board, and recruit
the physicians that treat our members.


DR. JESSICA SHEPHERD, MBA

Gynecologic surgeon at Baylor University Medical Center

Dr. Jessica Shepherd, MBA is Chief Medical Officer of Verywell Health and a
board-certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist and Minimally Invasive Gynecologic
surgeon at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX. She is also the
founder of Her Viewpoint, an online women’s health forum, a frequent guest
expert on The Today Show, Dr. Oz, CBS News, and other national media programs,
and former Director of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at the University
